5 stars for the merch: Fantastic selection of fabrics…read more MINUS 4 for the customer experience: Subpar to say the least. The lady at the store was dismissive and treated us like folks who walked in by mistake. From the moment we walked in (no hello, no greeting, just a blank and cold stare) to her assuming right off the bat that we wanted premade drapes ("we don't sell premade drapes"), it was a case study in how to NOT treat customers. It took us having to literally prove to her with pictures of our windows that we were seriously in the market for drapes. She was not willing to share even basic information like the price range for different fabric options nor was she willing to even talk about the types of options available. Her tone, tenor and attitude clearly said "I don't care for you". It was only after we told her the color of our walls by sharing the Sherwin Williams color code / name did she realize we weren't turnips that fell off the back of a truck. Up until that point she was dismissive to say the least. Even assuming we were just browsing, imagine if she had presented the brand, the store and the offerings in a positive and vibrant manner. In today's digital first world, why would you ignore and insult customers who drive across town and walk into your store? It was very clear that we were not welcome and she made no attempt to even mask it. Her loss will be another store's gain! Stay away from this store unless you like to be treated like yesterday's bread. To the owners: I hope you recognize and respect that customers come in as many shades as your fabric display!

However, we had dining room chairs that were part of an antique set that were in the original fabrics and literally, had no foam. Midas Fabrics was lovely to work with and we now have beautiful and comfortable chairs to enjoy holiday meals on. We also had a beloved oversized chair and ottoman that we in need of love. We had searched for a replacement chair and just could not find one that we loved as much as the one we had. So off to Midas we went and once again, the project was an overwhelming success! We love the look and refresh of it and are so happy with the work. I am now looking around to see what else I might possibly need done!! LOL!!! Would recommend Midas Fabric to anyone!

I would like to extend my gratitude to Larner's Officer Furniture, especially to Ms. Tammy Davis,…read morewho was incredibly pleasant and helpful throughout my entire experience. From the initial phone call to my visit, Tammy was the first to greet and welcome me into the large warehouse, which offers a fantastic selection of high-quality office furniture. I was genuinely impressed by the wide variety of used items available and was able to find exactly what I was looking for. While I appreciate their selection, I do wish they had extended hours, as their current hours are somewhat limited. That said, there was plenty of parking available, and I was able to pull right up to the entrance. Tammy went above and beyond by assisting me in loading my purchase into my vehicle. The entire staff was extremely polite, allowing me the time to browse freely without feeling rushed or pressured into making a purchase. Overall, my experience was refreshing, and I will definitely recommend Larner's to my fellow physician colleagues who are looking to furnish their homes or offices. A big thank you to Ms. Tammy Davis! You get what you pay for, prices are fair!

We bought over a million dollars of office furniture from Larner's when we built our office…read morebuilding in Charlotte, NC in 2015. Within the first year or 2, a handful of the black leather vinyl chairs we bought for our conference rooms began to peel. We reached out to Larner's to let them know, and they said the manufacturer wouldn't cover it under warranty, as they deemed it normal wear and tear. since then, almost All of the chairs covering has worn off and torn. We have been trying to work with Larner's to have either the manufacturer help us with replacement material or a better deal on replacement chairs, but Larner's came back at first saying the manufacturer had a cease and desist order to not stock or produce any chair that looks like the chairs we have and they sold off all of their parts. But then they turn around trying to sell us a chair that looks almost identical to the chairs we originally had, from the same manufacturer for more than what we bought the other chairs for. On a phone call to the owner of Larner's, when we tried to discuss the issues we have had and explain that the chairs were bad chairs, the owner dismissed the issue, claiming we must have used a chemical to clean the chairs and that is why this happened prematurely, when in fact, that was not the case. This is the worst of the issues with the furniture sold to us. We also had issues with the regular desk chairs the entire time, with arms constantly falling off or coming loose and backs and bases breaking. For the first 4 or so years, they fixed it under warranty, then after that, we paid to have them fixed, and now they can no longer fix them. I would caution doing business with this company as they certainly are not the partner that they promised they would be.

On July 4, we realized our sofa needed replacing immediately and we were expecting guests the following day. We started our search for a new couch at Furniture City and were anticipating a long day of furniture shopping since we had a long list of stores to go to. Furniture City had a wide selection to choose from with great prices and we found exactly what we wanted. The sales woman, Gloria was fantastic. She would check in on us periodically, but never put pressure on us, only answered our many questions. The most amazing part of our story is when she was able to find everything we needed in both the store and warehouse and could deliver our furniture that same day. July 4. They arrived earlier than expected, took our old furniture and replaced it with our new in about 10 minutes. Furniture Citi is my new favorite furniture store.

If your looking for a designer look, look no more! Beautiful full drapes with heavy double liner…read more Please ask about making your drapes, as I wasn't aware that the cost was less! I picked my material (lower grade that was very nice) and placed with the double liner, the cost was 20% off custom made drapes and I was able to get 1 and a 1/2 width wider drapes! The width of the slandered drapes was not wide enough. I also purchased a material at the Fabric Outlet in Charlotte (search google for location) and took it here and had custom made drapes! Prices for custom made drapes at 20% discount was a much better price than the 24' wide drapes they sell here in the store. Ask for Rebecca she's a wonderful help!

However, the salesperson assisting me expressed that she believed the price was too low. She took the package to the front of the store to consult with another staff member, who noted that the packaging was sealed and the pricing was inside. She suggested that the matter be referred to the owner. After a discussion in the back, I was informed that the marked price was incorrect and that the correct price was actually double. This is not the first time I've encountered inconsistencies with pricing at your store, which is both frustrating and concerning from a customer standpoint. I hope this issue will be addressed to ensure clarity and fairness in future transactions. I would say the items they sale are quality and beautiful, but when there are discrepancies in price, it makes me wonder if changes are the same for all people or do they discriminate based on age, gender, race or other. WOW! I have never said of felt the last part of this until the encounter at this store.
