this place is great.
first of all, the verbiage on their site is awesome. I didn't know exactly how much space I would need for sure, and the site made it seem like it would be easy to figure it out if something else was needed. what I got was perfect for me, so I didn't need to put that to the test.
anyways.
I got a free month as part of a promotion. I've seen that with uhaul as well, but I saw some other storage places that didn't offer it so kudos for that.
I will say the only aspect that I didn't like was the insurance requirement. I called and reserved a unit and was told insurance would be like 20 bucks. not a big deal. when I went to the store to sign the lease, I saw a thing that showed there were multiple insurance plans and I could have gotten one cheaper. im not detracting from my rating because it was only a 10 dollar difference and the customer experience I was given more than made up for it.
anyways, I went in to sign the lease, and John was amazing. I am a supervisor at a customer service call center, so I know good soft skills when I see them and John was an awesome example of good customer service. he was engaged with me as a customer and didn't try to upsell me when I picked out the cheapo lock that is required to be put on the unit to rent it. he had a great personality and at the end, took me to the unit and swept out the cottonwood seeds that gathered around the door.
in addition, I should backtrack and say I had to pay a prorated amount to move my stuff by a certain date. I had call when the date needed to be changed to a sooner date to see what the difference was that I would have to pay. it was a week earlier, but John took care of me without charging additional. I really appreciate when a business does something like that when they would be within their right to charge whatever amount it would have been.
overall a really good experience, and I would recommend for anyone who needs a storage unit. read more
