Not by a dollar or 2, one of mine was raised by $12 & the other by $16. Next problem I had was them charging me insurance when I never had a lapse in coverage, which is $24.97 mo. I called on say to clear my account & they needed to call me back because they couldn't figure it out. I was busy and had to go out of town so I call them back today and they have charged a $20 late fee because it should have been paid yesterday. They won't waive the fee because they already helped me out on the insurance. EXCUSE ME, YOU DIDN'T HELP ME OUT, YOU CORRECTED YOUR ERROR. I can't wait to move my stuff to a more HONEST & helpful business. PLEASE DO YOUR HOMEWORK & ASK THE RIGHT QUESTIONS: WHEN & HOW MUCH IT WILL GO UP. THEIR TERMS FOR LATE FEES, 1st one $20, 2nd one $60, in 1 month. This is charged if you have pending matters going on with them or not. INSURANCE THEY CHARGE IF YOU DON'T Provide them with a copy of your homeowners policy. And if they don't get a copy of your policy at renewal, they will charge it and even if you provide them with the policy, they will not remove the charge. read more

This facility is great! I've been storing with them for over a year now with no problems. They're always clean, easy to access, and the staff are helpful. They even suggested a plan for storing my items up higher so that I could save space and money by purchasing a smaller unit. They do offer climate controlled units, although I had no need for one. All units are ground level yet I've had no issues with flooding or property damage (even after the recent hurricane). I definitely recommend this storage facility! read more

If you ever rent from these people, (Storage Mart) beware. They will take your money and lock you out of the system. I paid for a full month and no longer have access to the unit or the account online. They will only prorate if you are moved out by the 5th of the month. My home was devastated by hurricane Laura and I needed to remove my furniture ASAP! Storage Mart was there to help even though their facility was damaged. I had my movers load their truck and start driving to my unit! We were stuck in traffic for quit some time when I realized they would be closed by the time we were to arrive! Tom, the property manager, was contacted and he actually drove back to the Storage Mart and saved the day! What a terrific man and facility! Can't thank them enough! I received a call from Elizabeth this morning confirming my booking. She quickly went over what I needed to do. I arrived this afternoon and quickly did paperwork. I'm forced to deduct a point because there's only one cart for 200+ storage buildings and every time I get it someone wants to come take it from me. One time it lead to the person carelessly removing my belongings and I only had it for 5 minutes prior to. But overall, I really love storage mart. It's always clean, the A/C's haven't broken down to my knowledge and everyone here is extremely friendly and helpful. However, Elizabeth stands out the most to me. She's kind and goes up and beyond what she needs to to ensure everyone is satisfied and she always has positive things to say. Elizabeth builds personal relationships with the people who rent storage units here and I've seen her do it with not only myself but others too. If you are looking for additional storage or like me and move your entire house into the storage building I highly recommend storage mart and if you do get the pleasure of having Elizabeth I know you won't regret it. Sometimes during these stressful times of moving it's incredibly nice to have someone that cares and a clean and well maintained storage to make a stressful situation much more bearable. read more
