I highly recommend you NOT use this storage facility. I used them for about 8 months or so and had problems with them from day 1. I should have used my day 1 experience as a sign. I used the auto draft for my billing and on 3 separate months they increased my bill. $10 one month because they said it was a system issue. $40 on two other months without any notification they said they went up on my rate. Had I not looked at my checking account I would not have noticed it. Needless to say that was the last straw. Management was of no help whatsoever. Steer clear of this place. read more

The first month was pretty much free , and the place is super safe. Shop spaces and music rehersal spaces are totally allowed here, and the monthly prices are affordable. Jack, the manager or owner, runs a tight ship. I am surprised that I even wrote a review about a storage place. Wow. read more

I was satisfied with how my storage unit was cared for, but I was told before purchasing the unit that I wouldn't be charged for the whole month of august because I am moving out on the 1st. Yet I was just notified that I will have to pay for the whole month when I won't even be able to use it. If this is the case I will never store anything at a StorageMart again. read more

The guy who runs the place tag teams it with his wife, so you can consider it a family business, with a corporate backing. They showed me a lot of respect, even as a college student. Most places in Athens do not show respect. Their rates are reasonable, and it seems very safe. My only complaint is that they are very strict about how long their terms are. For example, I'm only going to be renting for 2 days next month, but still have to pay for the whole month. If they had met me half way, and only charged me for 1 month starting on the day I moved it, I would have given 5 stars. Overall, I highly recommend this place. read more

Clean-ish space, bad management. If you have daughters looking to store their stuff, find somewhere else. The supervisor decided to do a "transfer" instead of letting me sign my own contract for my space. This looped me with everything *he* had signed up for, offering me no change options. When I expressed my dismay at the immorality of the supervisor's decision, he "explained" how it worked to me 1) like a child and 2) without any actual justifiable explanation. He claimed the Free First Month promotion (which is ALSO apparent here on Yelp) on the website had expired, even though it was still on the website as I checked, sitting at the StorageMart counter. Then the bill he gave me, did not line up with the actual cost of the unit, charing me about $20 extra because I had moved my stuff out of my dad's bigger until into my smaller unit on the 1st of the month. After I move out of this place, I won't ever be back. read more
