He made my shoes good as new and I look forward to wearing them, now that they are repaired. It's a service well worth what you pay because the quality is so top notch. Sam is gonna be honest with you up front and show you how to better maintain your shoes. I went in, showed him the issues, he told me exactly what he needed to do and what the repairs were gonna cost, and then he texted me a couple days later saying they were done. I took in a pair of heeled sandals to replace the insoles, as they had completely come unglued…read more After getting them back, I noticed multiple parts had been damaged. -scuff marks at the back and front of the shoes -leftover glue on one of the heels -one of the insoles was not glued down properly -the straps have been stretched out at the seams and are practically ripping off These shoes are very old and I took them to Angelo's as a last ditch effort to save them. The insole replacement is fine but not worth the additional damages. The lack of care and attention to detail is very disappointing.

Either way I agreed to replace both zippers so they'd match, thinking he knows what he's doing and they'd last me longer. But $45 for this?! It looks like they worked on my shoes with a machete. Even the simple things I needed done with my shoes were poorly done, and the shoes started ungluing quickly after getting them back. The other items they worked on they either damaged by them thoughtlessly deeply scratching them and carelessly applying leather stains on the to parts they shouldn't have. I wish I would've never heard about this place and I wish I would have never gone here. I'm so disappointed and also angry because all my things they ruined were very expensive and one of the things they damage irreversibly was my grandfather's. It's not worth the chance, just don't go here.
