After a quick google search, I found Sunflower Orchard and was glad it wasn't too far of a drive. When we arrived, I will admit I was a bit disappointed by the size of the trees. I was hoping for large trees that the kids would have to climb up to get. The disappointment was short-lived because as soon as I tasted their fuji apple I was so excited to try other varieties. We grabbed a couple bags and went to explore their orchard and discovered some new varieties. Our favorites were the ultragold and winecrisp. There was a candy crisp that the kids also liked. I then received an email reply on April 11th informing me of a delay due to an influx in orders but confirmed shipment. The order should have been canceled the day before when I made the request. The merchant has a due diligence to monitor customer inquiries and they did not. The order later showed that it was scheduled for delivery on April 17th. Upon tracking the order it ended up being re-routed from the delivery state where I reside for an unknown reason. I contacted the company AGAIN with proof the aforementioned information from the USPS website on April 18th. I received no response. I emailed again later on that same day. Again, no reply. I then received an email response on April 21st stating no refund would be issued since the order had been shipped. I reiterated what was in my initial email where I requested the cancelation and informed the merchant that the shipping time was unexpectedly long and that was not what I had anticipated, not to mention that I would be out of the country during the scheduled delivery date. Packages that are delivered to my apartment complex get left in outdoor storage lockers. NEWSFLASH, IT IS HOT IN TEXAS, not to mention that unclaimed packages will be discarded if not retrieved within a reasonable amount of time. I informed the merchant of the aforementioned information and they have since ceased responses. The fact that I'll be away for atleast 6 weeks or better means I won't get the order hence the cancelation request. I simply want a refund. Would give zero stars if I could

It is worth noting a couple of things: the admission price covers a great deal of the activities inside but not everything, so check the website for exclusions. Further, the food prices felt like we were inside an amusement park. For reference, a turkey leg cost $16, which nearly matched the cost of a turkey leg in Los Angeles' Disney California Adventure Park's price (~$16.50).

The patch normally opens mid June and highly recommend calling the Picking Report before heading out. If going with little ones, take a wagon or backpack carrier for them. Little fingers can't pick very fast and tend to get tired. They have a wonderful bakery with delicious muffins for sale and a general store with all kinds of jams, bakery items, honey and anything blueberry related. If you didn't pick enough, you can also buy "We Pick" berries, but calling ahead to reserve is recommended. Lots of picnic tables to enjoy baked goods or picnic lunches. Walking can be challenging on the gravel surfaces, but for anyone with difficulties can drive to the farther fields. There will still be walking involved and no hard surfaces.

Google Maps led me there with no issues. We arrived at ample parking space. Staff handed us a bucket and directed us to the currently available picking rows. We then walked all the way to the back of rows 1-3 and found a bevy of berries. After the gathering, we went back to the beginning and headed inside the little store where the berries were weighed and paid for. Fresh berries are a MUST in the summer and these were quite literally the freshest! I made jumbo blueberry muffins and a blueberry-topped cheesecake and they were delicious. The Berry Patch is so worth the effort.
