I came with my family -- including my young (toddler) son and my mother, which is to say that our crew had folks from 4 -70-ish years old. We went for the fall festival and were satisfied with the range of activities that were offered, specifically the range of activities that appealed the the 4-year old (e.g., corn pit, hayrack ride, train ride, pumpkin patch, etc.). It is exactly what you would expect from such an attraction held on a farm in the midwest. It is worth noting a couple of things: the admission price covers a great deal of the activities inside but not everything, so check the website for exclusions. Further, the food prices felt like we were inside an amusement park. For reference, a turkey leg cost $16, which nearly matched the cost of a turkey leg in Los Angeles' Disney California Adventure Park's price (~$16.50). read more

They charge overpriced entry fee. The only service they provide is overpriced concessions. The pumpkin patch is just a field with pumpkins rolled off of a pallet. The rabbits and birds had no water and it was 95° out. The rabbits were burrowing under their houses to get out of the hot sun. I complained to the staff. read more

Family fun with tons of activities for kids of all ages. They often offer discounts on admission, specials for military service men, so make sure to check their Facebook page. We went opening weekend, and had a lot of fun in the corn maze, pumpkin patch, feeding the goats and rabbits, and my personal favorite was jumping on the big inflatable rubber pillows (like a trampoline). It was fun for the little ones and adults alike. the one sad moment was when we found out that their cider press was broken, so we couldn't get apple cider slushies :( We tried the apple cider donuts, and I'd say they were just okay. came in a plastic package similar to what you buy at the grocery store, so it didn't seem like they were fresh and homemade. We ended up buying some pumpkins, and they were a reasonable price per pound. the downside is that Gary's berries is it out kind of in the middle of nowhere, but it is worth the drive especially if you can get some discounted tickets. They're open through late in the evening, and you can pay extra to reserve a personal bonfire with s'more making and hotdog accoutrement. read more

Way overrated!!! My daughter and a few friends went on a Friday evening. $5.00 more than they advertised on their website, so $20.00/per person!!!! The maize was only 3 foot tall or so, so kind of pointless and the hayrack ride stopped giving rides at 7:00, ON A FRIDAY EVENING!!! Another huge frustration was they do not take cash, once inside. So no cash accepted for a $2.00 drink. You either need to use a credit card, for $2.00 OR their suggestion, putting money on a "gift card". Wonder who the winner of that comes out to be?¿¡! I spend $36 for 2 people to take my chances catching covid. Less than 50% of the people attending and staff didn't have masks on, social distancing was a joke. There are tramplings with over a hundred plague kids jumping up and down. At least my $12 per dozen cider donuts made by a kitchen with no mask taste ok. I would honestly put 0 stars If I could. I went here with two of my friends to take cute pictures, get pumpkins, and just have fun in general. We were severely disappointed. Both the nets, tether balls, and basketball court were in severe disrepair. The price of admission was expensive, and there was a limited choice of pumpkins. Hands down, WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD! They closed their Halloween event to the public at 3pm, on Haloween eve. Zero notification to the public. Zero signage indicating this. Zero notifications on their website. Tickets can still be purchased, at the time of this posting, yet entry is denied with law enforcement at the gate. No way to get ticket purchase refunded on site. The owner of company that rented GB out, overheard our situation and stated we could enter and be part of the company event, yet the gate guard still denied us and our children entry. We had a bus of people from KC that purchased tickets, showed up and were turned away at the gate. How much in fuel did this cost? This family will NEVER support Gary's Berries again. My favorite place to go during the fall season. There's always a wide variety of food, fun, and music for people of all ages to enjoy. I've been coming here every year since I was little as a holiday tradition. I love going on the hay rack rides, going through the corn maze, petting the goats & other farm animals, and eating Carmel apples. Super dissapointed this year. Maze was horrible and food was way below standards (hamburger) The bad thing is that they still charge the same per ticket when it possible should have been like about half of normal. You could see over the corn in the maze, it was the worst since we started going. The buns in the hamburger were dry, the meat over cooked. The fries were nice at least. Skip this year if you can.
