This Stop & Shop located in the Expressway Plaza is an excellent supermarket that always has food stocked and friendly(ish) staff. However, I do have to give a heads up to everyone that the staff at the self-checkout line might unintentionally make you feel uncomfortable as you scan items. Tonight as I was finishing shopping and scanning items, I had the lone attendant stand basically on top of me. It was closer than six feet and they didn't have a mask on, and asking them to step back was met with an awkward silence. I love this supermarket and the people working there ARE friendly. But at a certain point, you do catch on to some of the more unscrupulous tactics this store employs to catch thief's. It's unfortunately not the first time I've had an employee not realize they are too close to a customer. Yes, I understand people steal, but there are better ways to deter people rather than standing so close to them you actually feel a bit uncomfortable. Not the employees faults I'm sure. This shop is great, and the only real complaint I have is that staff accidentally think you are stealing too often. Once a few months ago, an employee DID ask me to stop from leaving the store and scan an item because he swore he caught me not scan it. I had to show him my receipt to prove that, actually I did scan it. It was embarrassing to be accused of stealing a precious "protein bar" in front of everyone! Overall, excellent spot. Just lighten up on the whole "staring into the souls of your customers" aspect as they scan their items.

Loving the holidays munchies!!

This will be the second time I write a review for stop and shop...I have no idea where my recent review went.. So I shop here pretty frequently... About once a week... I come here for there weekly sales or just because I have the munchies... The service is ok...the store is always clean...the people here are some what friendly...will in the afternoon...came here once in the making and the cashier looked fed up and mean... The quality of the meat is nice... They have all the snacks I want... The bakery section is oddly expensive for some weird reason... Like a plate of Brownies for ten dollars... Who the hell wants to buy that... The cakes or ok...bought two birthday cake here once... The chocolate cake can be overwhelming...when I usually come here I usually go to the self check out lines... I don't want to deal with people...machine can get stupid sometimes but it's faster then cashiers...There is a huge parking lot! And also bathroom!

Nice quiet clean store. Lines usually reasonable. The fruit and produce section has been looking really good lately. Everything is fresh and there are some occasional sales that are worth the value. I haven't done much full grocery shipping here but I have stopped in for a few odds and ends. My next planned trip I am going to go all out and try it for everything.

His supermarket run!! My little man has his own list.

It's a super market that's brand new to the area, used to be path-mark which is not much of a difference besides its name. You walk into a ratchet mess full of Hawks trying to sell you something. From the liquor store junkies in front of it, to the beauty supply store fools saying nice hair, to subway arguments about a foot long. Lol I kid you not, I seriously can't make this up. This is all going on within secs of walking in an out. Decent sales ok stocked shelves the meat department looks very fresh with no old meat smells it. Nice cashiers an customer service area. All is BrandNew, neatly organized an clean. Huge parking lot but for other stores located in this plaza as well. Pretty populated but again it's the closes big supermarket besides shoprite.

Nice job guys! You sell bread to consumers that rodents chewed on.

I really don't get all the hate for this place. It's a great local little handmade pumpkin patch…read morefor those of us that just can't get to a "real" patch because of multiple factors when dealing with an unpredictable toddler. The staff is friendly and they always smile; had no issues being assisted with finding parking onsite, and walked to the tent for tickets. We decided to go on the last hottest day of October, and enjoyed our visit! My son loved picking up and touching the last remaining pumpkins, plenty of which were still in perfect carving condition. There were some pumpkins that were clearly rotting that could've been removed prior to this place opening, but hey - it's not the end of the world. My son enjoyed watching the tractor go around the patch with other visitors onboard the hay trailer. He wasn't brave enough this year. There's food trucks and cider available for purchase, and really enjoyed their apple cider donuts that were tiny and cute! The vendors selling toys, bubbles, and other things were a ripoff, so I would stay clear. The portion for the chicken nuggets and fries was decent and worked out well for a shared lunch. Take it for what it is and know that if you have kids 5 and up, this place isn't it.

Such a bad example of a money grab, fall festival. This place cost us $22 for a family of three to…read morejust enter. That ticket DOES NOT include a pumpkin or anything worthwhile. Once inside, they sell burnt or still frozen (your choice) cheese arepas, bags of popcorn, lemonade, water, stale donuts and crappy coffee. All totally overpriced. The line for the free hayride, which makes one small loop, is too long to ask your impatient kid to wait for. Then to buy 3 pumpkins (which they probably picked up at Walmart or Trader Joe's) it cost us $35!!!! Look at my photos. The only slightly cute things they had were the pumpkin fling and the photo op inside a pumpkin cutout. But of course the pumpkin fling was not cheap. I highly recommend avoiding this fall festival if you're thinking about going. Also, there's boatloads of traffic and no parking. Just go somewhere else. Any other farm is better. Hell, Trader Joes is better!!
