Stop 'N' Shop in Hadley is labeled as Moderate yet their prices are a lot higher than Hannaford's. The deli has a very, very nice selection of lunchmeat, cheese, and prepared meals. I never leave without picking up a pound of sesame chicken. Rating: 5/5 The produce section has very fresh foods as far as I know. I don't know what that the guy that said the produce "STINKS" is talking about. Rating: 4/5 The seafood section has a decent selection, but I'll admit it could have a bit more to offer. Rating: 3/5 The bakery also seems to be slightly limited in places, but the quality of what they have is very good. I just wish they still had tiramisu. Rating: 3/5 The meat section? Very nice selection of various cuts of meat. And thankfully they sell lamb there as well, something even the nearest Wal-Mart Supercenter doesn't even sell. Rating: 5/5 As for the rest of the store? They have a pretty good selection, but I feel that they don't have a big enough selection. While the pet food they sell has the right flavors my cat likes, the rest of the store seems to miss the mark when it comes to the aisles (especially the frozen foods section) of other supermarkets. Rating: 3/5 As for the staff, they are very friendly there, and the atmosphere is quite positive. I've never had a problem with the staff or enviroment. Rating: 5/5 Overall, I give it a 4 out of 5.

I had to drive through petersham in my travels- not a typical route or regular drive but alas I actually passed this store, noticing the OPEN flag , I slammed a U turn to get a sharply needed caffeine boost and found myself in the most delightful spot in a seemingly desolate places when I say I walked in the door and it felt like - a waiting room to heaven door opened as a really beautifully laid out l, store, restaurant, local craft gallery and mini grocery market was laid out instantly as I floated in here. I took as many photos as a Middle Aged woman is permitted to take without looking like a fool - see the photos- while I waited for my turkey club sandwich on French (highly recommend) and loved every second of it.
