It took two days to get the part just for it to be the wrong one. When I called the local dealership to get the part, I informed Mike but he told me it was the wrong one, refused to give me the part number and said they "go by the picture now". Was also told my battery (which was perfectly fine before I brought it in) needed to be replaced. I ended up having to purchase and install the light and battery myself just to get my certification on time which almost made me lose the sale of my vehicle. Never going back.

When I booked an appointment to get my air conditioning fixed I asked for a estimate and they said they would let me know. Dropped it off and asked again, they said same thing. That afternoon when the car was suppose to be fixed I called at 4:30 to ask and they weren't finished and asked for the estimate and wouldn't tell me until Monday. Monday afternoon we get a call and were told it's fixed. Under the consumer protection law (http://www.e-laws.gov.on.ca/html/statutes/english/elaws_statutes_02c30_e.htm#BK67) A shop may not fix your car until the owner of the car agrees to the estimate. They never told me! I came in and explained I was upset and the service was horrible I even said I wasn't looking for free ( also have a audio recording of the whole conversation) and told him I have no problem paying for half as this is his mistake and I asked numerous times. He then told me he would take the van if I wanted to and unhook it all but I have to pay for him to unhook it. After much polite arguing , we didn't get harsh he finally after 30 minutes said he would charge a little over half. Which we were fine about. I'm posting this as this shop needs to understand the consumer protection law, I could of taken him to court and not paid anything. But I didn't. Customers need to know their rights and not get bullied by shop owners. Own up to your mistake and meet the client half way . It doesn't need to be a struggle. What if I couldn't afford it at all? This is my regular repair shop and I enjoy their service. Yes they have had issues come up from…read moretime to time with delays on repairs but typically those have not been there fault, they've been things like parts not arriving when they were expected, etc. I've never had them complete repairs when I've asked for an estimate first and they've always been accurate when given. The folks there are always polite and easy to deal with. My only real gripe is the fact that they aren't open on Saturdays and due to my scheduling it's sometimes difficult to get my vehicle in when I need to but they do have a key drop box where you can leave your car and put your key in an envelope with instructions and they have always been decent when I've done that. I have no major issues with these people and they do honor their repair warranties.

Cons: doesn't do the job properly or the job requested at all. Had the bolts from the coil packs to…read morethe engine block broken during a valve cover gasket replacement which caused periodic misfires, the intake manifold was also cracked during the same operation. Paid for a smoke test on my engine to find the air leak, the mechanic only read engine codes which anyone with a 300$ tool can do. I paid for lies, took it to another shop they fond the issue right away. Doesn't recommend preventative maintenance which prevents damage to the car, in fact Steven recommends replacing parts which only temporarily fix the issue. Ie my dead catalytic converter, which was killed as a result of misfires and the the air leak caused by the poor work done on the valve cover gasket replacement. Typically dead catalytic converters indicate a engine issue be it fuel trim, fuel injector leak or something else. Point is replacing a dead cat only solves the catalytic converter issue temporary till the previous issue is solved. Steven recommended me on the day of the "smoke test" that i replace my cat or ditch my car, he further stated he has an old woman who gets her cats replaced by him every 6-8 months. DISGUSTING! any competent mechanic worth his salt knows dead cats indicate other engine related issues. Cats are designed to last the lifetime of the automobile. Cant give 0 stars.
