Pretty good Colombian food sold out of a small truck with some indoor seating on the side. They are in a car dealership parking lot and we were able to find parking easily. The reason for 3 stars is because they don't provide aji with the empanadas. I've been to Colombia a few times and married to a Colombian for the past 5 years. Aji with empanadas is a staple. It's a vinegary watery sauce with chopped green onions and a spicy element that complements an empanada amazingly. Unfortunately they don't provide it and the empanadas are dry. This is really the only reason I won't come back. If you don't mind, I do recommend them. Food had great flavor. Service was great and the workers are very friendly. You have to scan the code to get the menu FOOD: -Empanadas (3/5) Dough has good flavor and so did the chicken and beef meat but no aji :( $4 each or 5 for $19 -Arepon (4/5) Huge Corn arepa stuffed with chicken, chorizo, corn, cheese, ripe banana and a delicious garlic sauce $16

This place represents the idiosyncrasy and culture of the Colombian Caribbean flavor. It feels like home; the products and quality are unmatched; in addition, the service is its added value. Each bite is like being in Colombian land full of flavor. Stop 19 demonstrates the talent of Colombia, I would return again and again, it is a must stop in the fast food of the Bay Area. Its atmosphere is familiar and welcoming, an atmosphere full of friendship and good memories.

Not gonna lie, I'm not really familiar with Colombian food but if you love some fries with a variety mix of chicken, sausage(s), beef, cheese and maybe some corn and pineapple sauce this might be for you. Took a chance on this place thru DoorDash and I was thoroughly impressed with how good the food is here. Despite the somewhat higher cost I think it's worth it with the massive portions that you get. Would definitely get more whenever I'm craving this

Salchicha papas. Súper good. Big portion. Good for sharing.

We decide to visit there on a weekday for our first time to try Colombian food. The menu you got just scanning the QR code and you can have in English and Spanish the whole description of each plate so that's very good. And they have way more dishes than the one you can see here on Yelp now so needs to go and check all the options. The people very friendly. Service was fast . Ambience very nice decorated and with good Colombian music. For sure I will come back to try more dishes.

You Guava be Kidding Me…read more A bakery and juicery that has been serving up delicious Colombian specialties since 1999 in Colombia, before emigrating to the US and opening up shop here in Cambrian Park in 2014. Milohas (mil hojas) means a thousand layers in Spanish, and one taste of Milohas' pastries will make you understand why they picked that moniker. The Good: * Large shared parking lot * Friendly service * Covered outdoor dining * The crust of the empanadas was buttery, flaky, and delicious. All the fillings were good, but you have to try the Hawaiian filling! It was truly fantastic and had us wishing that's all we'd ordered. * Guava Finger has the same perfect crust and tasty guava jam--I could eat a dozen of these and come back for more. *oink oink* * Carissa really enjoyed their lentil soup. I didn't try it, so I can't comment. The Meh: * I kind of prefer the chunks of meat in Peruvian empanadas to the ground meat in Colombian ones, but that's just a personal preference. It was still delicious, so at the end of the day, it's all academic. The Ugly: * No indoor dining, and outdoor dining is limited to only a handful of seats. Conclusion: We've been on the hunt for the best empanadas in the South Bay, and we finally found them.

Finally tried Milohas as they've been on my list for a while and have a lot of great reviews. Oh…read moreman, was I disappointed. Ordered two empanadas: Spinach & Cheese and a Chicken & Potato. I wanted to get some desert items but they seemed to have very few things to choose from. I would have asked questions but inside the store was strangely loud and the woman who helped me was a low talker so I couldn't understand anything she was saying to me as it was. The empanadas are pretty large, as are the prices. $17 for the two. At this price point I was glad I decided not to buy more. Each comes with a tiny side of aji green sauce. They could have been more generous here. I found the spinach to be very salty and more breading than filling. The chicken one was a letdown. Chicken was lacking any flavor. For both the pastry was dry. Was only able to eat half of each and threw the rest away. Not really the kind of place you dine in for. You order at the counter and there is limited seating inside (in a way that makes you not want to dine in), and a few seats outside. Plenty of parking in the shopping center lot. This visit and subsequent review makes me feel sad. I want to support these unique, independent eateries but they make it difficult when the quality doesn't meet the high cost. Improvements would be to reevaluate their recipes, make the pastries less dry and dense, and maybe don't be so skimpy on the fillings.

It packed the flavor punch of homestlye cooking and would rival more expensive sit-down restaurants. What a gem! We ordered the Venezuelan arepa, birria empanada, mushroom empanada, side Macondo salad, and passion fruit juice. Every dish was fantastic, and I'd easily recommend any of the above. Venezuelan arepa -- the was ridiculously yummy. The perfect balance of creamy, rich avocado sauce with chicken. It was hearty, balanced, and perfectly seasoned. Birria empanada -- this was delicious, rich, and perfect for the particularly chilly late afternoon. Birria on point. If you're craving birria in a delectable, crispy empanada format, you'll be quite happy. Mushroom empanada -- yummy. We love mushroom empanadas and they executed this one well. Macondo side salad -- surprisingly fantastic! Did not expect it to be so tasty. It was only a side dish for the combo, but it held its own among the baked goods. That's how yummy it was. Passion fruit juice -- sweet and relatively thick. They definitely didn't water it down! If you're a fan of passion fruit juice, you'll must try this one. Environment was fast casual. Only drawback was althe comfort level of a few of the dining chairs, which sloped backwards in an awkward way. The bench actually felt more comfortable, so we opted for that. Take out seems easy and common here, so we'll like try that as well in the future. Located on a busy street, but you can almost always find free parking down one of the perpendicular side streets. Looking forward to coming back for a delicious, casual bite!

We ordered the Venezuelan, Colombian, and Pulled Pork BBQ arepas, the birria empanadas, pandebono with dulce de leche, and the chocolo arepa. Unfortunately, we couldn't finish most of the food. The birria empanadas and all three arepas were way too salty. I'm not sure if they went a little overboard with the salt today, but it was overwhelming and made it hard to enjoy anything. The pandebono with dulce de leche was also disappointing. It's described as being filled with dulce de leche, but it was actually just a plain pandebono with a small side of dulce de leche. The texture was also a bit too chewy for my liking. The only item I truly enjoyed and was able to eat was the chocolo arepa that one was actually decent. Overall, I was pretty disappointed because I really enjoy arepas and was excited to find a new spot. I may give them another try in the future in case it was just an off day, but this first experience didn't live up to my expectations.
