You, prospective artist looking for a place to jam... and you, whoever the owner is. It's not that the place is bad. It's just not good. and it could be great. With just a little more effort, this place could've been one of the premier rehearsal loccout facilities in the whole county. But it seems like their satisfied with doing the bare minimum. Since my previous reviews: 1. The bathrooms still are FILTHY 90% of the time. To the point where girls would rather piss in the parking lot than use the bathroom. READ THAT LINE AGAIN. Trash piled up high for days. 2. The vending machines haven't been filled since 2018. 3. The overall vibe is "musical slumlord." And that bleeds into your music creatively. It's not completely soundproof, so you have to picc and choose when to record, especially if your neighboring rooms are bass heavy or burgeoning roccstars. there's no real common areas, so you're basically in your room all day, or standing outside. No place to put flyers or vibe and congregate to collab. No arcade games. Just rooms. Like I said before. If you just need 4 walls to jam, this place is good for just that. I'll say that I used that space for all it was good for, but after a while, I had to leave to do better.

The studio owner and recording engineer is highly knowledgable and friendly. The studio staff are all very helpful and organized. Everybody really cares about their craft. The space itself is beautifully built and invites creativity. The atmosphere is relaxed but professional. There are several rooms for recording. As a drummer, most of my time is spent in the main room. The Hear No Evil team sets up sessions quickly while maintaining a positive atmosphere. My recording process has always gone smoothly. There are a wide range of instruments, microphones, and amps to choose from and the staff will help recommend what to use for the best result. If it's a longer session, there is a microwave and fridge to heat/store some food. Parking is on-site, free, and abundant. I give Hear No Evil my highest recommendation!

As an artist paying for studio time, that's incredibly distracting and disrespectful. I did not feel valued as a client. After leaving, I was repeatedly asked to rebook, instead of being asked how the session went. Bad vibes kill creativity. I would never go back. UPDATED Feb 1-11:24pm After leaving this review, the owner Elliot messaged me AGAIN on Instagram. Took zero accountability and only cares about his image. NOT the client. To address your comment, I asked for a discount, cuz your interns run the session. As Indie artists we have to fight to protect a space we paid for. Often times we don't have other options in the area so we suck it up, but no more! This is not a good studio. I would not go back. Look at how he responds to feedback...

Frank's teaching style is very open and catered to the student and he makes learning very fun and is also very encouraging especially for beginners! He is a consummate professional and one of the hardest working people I have ever met in my life, who makes this look easy (doing music professionally). The only people who would leave a negative review are posers and reverse-shills. Having worked with Frank in nearly every facet, short of being taught how to play drums (I have taught with him though for years), it goes without saying for me, that he is worth every star I just gave him, because that is what he is: a star and a sun. If you don't believe that as well, it is because you reside in the shadows, where you belong. A bright star casts a dark shadow, and there you are. Frank has played on many of my songs and has recorded and engineered on more songs than I can count well beyond my meager contribution to music as an art form. You don't need to take my word for it. Try him yourself, and then one will not be speaking from a place of ignorance, in the shadows.

The owners have a clear appreciation for local art and culture which is reflected throughout the space. There's a perfect blend of socializing in the common areas, yet quiet in the work area (imperative if you're as easily distracted as I am). Perks -- free coffee, chill but professional people, natural light, amazing views (especially at sunset), great central Downtown location, several conference room hours included with all monthly plans (and if there's no one renting it, they'll occasional let you use it for free -- ex: for a phone call/video conference). Definitely a good spot to get work done outside of the house. And at this price point, it's practically a steal.

I started with them and I have not been able to pick out a desk or use the office once. I started with them on June of 2019. The company charged me for several months and did not inform me I needed to pick a desk or I would need a key to use the facilities. I found out I needed that in July after I had already paid for June. I asked them to put my membership on hold until I could come in and pick a desk and get a key and they still charged me. They are all about money and not providing a great service experience or any experience at all. I talked with the owner about getting a key He said he would call me back but her never did. Check for a workspace elsewhere because they don't provide any real services and thy may not be a real company. I believe they are a shell company without any spaces available from my interactions with them. Either that or everything is already rented out and they can't provide me with a desk. I have rented and office before and I was informed of everything and I actually was able to use the office when I wanted. I now regret moving from where I was before and coming to this company so I could be closer to my home.
