Stoner's Funstore: No, it's not a dispensary. Let's just get that out of the way at the jump. In case you forgot: You're in Indiana, baby! Stoner's Funstore is a costume and gag gift shop. Apparently, this is THE place to rent and buy costumes in Fort Wayne. They've been operating in the city since 1949! It's also the place to buy fake poop, fake barf, fake teeth, fake mustaches, fake hair and fake Spam. (The fake Spam is actually a decoy secret safe.) They also sell lots of silly gifts, corny mugs, cringey t-shirts, ironic greeting cards, and a lot of Marvel things, for some reason. Stoner's has three rooms of "things that you didn't know you needed but can't live without," according to the delightful woman who works here. She literally said that while standing behind the counter, and I immediately and covertly wrote it down in the notes section of my phone because it was so great. This same woman convinced me to try on a dress from the costume section that looked like it had the Eye of Sauron on it and was $3, because she said, "You're so small, you could fit into this costume and wear it for real." I mean, if an older woman who works in a costume shop called Stoner's Funstore says that you're small and would look good in an Eye of Sauron dress that used to be a costume, you try on the dress. Unfortunately, the proportions were all wrong, so I had to put the dress back on the rack. The vibe at Stoner's is cool and laid back, the people who work here are friendly and helpful, and the store is centrally located in downtown Fort Wayne, with lots of parking, which is a rarity for downtown Fort Wayne. The store was awesome, I loved the birthday cards and the t-shirts! The costumes were sick and they were lgbt friendly! The store clerk was fun and kind even when we accidentally opened a prank jar of snakes in the store good prices too! :) would visit again!! read more

This stoner loves Stoner's Funstore downtown Fort Wayne! I love coming in to this store to browse. Fun to look, all of them scary mask, all year round Halloween horror. Their is no such things as Vampires fruitcake! Well come to Stoner's and they will see about that! Makeup, cape, they have it all here. They also have fake blood, cut off hands and feet, scary mask all over them walls. They have cards, joke cards and sex toys and them sweet sex candies, they have it all here People! Chief on some good good and come to Stoner's with a friend or someone you love! It's all fun... I suspect this store will be getting busy around Halloween right? Great local business, keep em in business and buy some stuff from this place...Right? Great place if you want to go all balls deep and get a fancy Halloween party costume, the kind with booze, lady vampires, Ouija( weegee boards ) intense sex waxes and all kinds of weird stuff. I absolutely love going here to browse and shop. It is a great place to get things for halloween or even for plays and even for fun. They have all kinds of things from costumes to theatrical makeup and practical jokes to magic items. It is a small business that I would dare say is better all around than many of the bigger stores. read more

Love this place! Unique store with lots to see- Magic tricks, classic jokes, gifts, and crazy greeting cards. They have everything you need for theatrical supplies- wigs, hats, accessories, LOTS OF COSTUMES, and BenNye professional makeup. Halloween mask and costumes all year long. This was the first place around Fort Wayne that I could buy liquid latex back in the late 70's to make slush mold monster masks. Dick Stoner is a Fort Wayne icon and his shop is a jewel. read more

horrible experience. no parking. even after species ding money on a parking slot across the street and being watched by stoners employees doing so, I was told after opening the door they were closed. on a Saturday. 2 weeks before Halloween. we drove an hour to get one item for our daughter for nothing.
