I'll be staying in the lodge for the end of my trip but the restaurant is good. Country store has all your gear and poughy bait, ice and fire wood. There's zip lining on site and watching a group go it's really fun. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Compared to some of the national parks I've visited, this is much nicer. Really glad I can't up here for the week to unwind.

This hampered our enjoyment considerably because it was difficult planning our days to research the area for things to do. We had to make 2-3 daily trips to the office to connect to WiFi. If I parked even 100' away from the office there was no service. And don't expect GPS accuracy. We often went into town about 8 miles away, but we were detoured a few times in the wrong direction trying to make our way back to the park - not the parks fault. If you have a mobile router, you will be fine and be able to enjoy all that Lookout Mountain has to offer.

Definitely get the tickets off of Groupon. It's just a better deal and last so long there's laser tag which was super fun. I love doing it. This is my third time coming. I came with family.. The only downside is there's a lot of groups of teens that come so you may have to wait during certain times they have bowling. They have a restaurant there's a hotel not too far from this location. That is an amazing restaurant as well. It's just a great place to go hang out they even have a really tall climbing wall. The staff is young. They are helpful, but there will be times where you may not immediately get helped because they're engaging conversations with each other, but it's to be expected with young staff.

I do need to say though the terrain is pretty hilly and there was a fair number of holes so watch your step, but I was warned of this ahead of time. I'm fairly new to wing shooting and different outfitters, but the experience I had that day was beyond my expectations. I hunted as a single and there were 22 birds flushed, several doubles and a triple. Ashley was an amazing guide and her two GLP's really were great and able to hold point while we caught up. Her flushing cocker Boss was a machine who would not stop and was a hoot to watch. My only real issue was also with the signage, Barnsley was not real clear where the facility was located, and I was getting stressed as I felt like I was running late, when I called for directions it kept going to the outpost number and they weren't picking up, so, the day started a bit stressful. I think I see clays in my future.
