The practice greens are just like the course greens, which if you play golf a lot you know that's not always the case. The course is definitely challenging, but not miserable to play if you aren't a scratch golfer. One thing I will say though, the greens are FAST! You better be able to putt, or you will 3-4 putt every single hole. If you get a day and want to treat yourself, this would be a great place to do so.

At the driving range, using my #taylormade RBZ #5 19' Driver for the first time, that I just bought yesterday, and the head snaps off! That was funny, but the good people there at the club, offered me use of their drivers for free, so as to not ruin my day there. It is this small gesture that will have me coming back to play! It's located in a beautiful area near the river and definitely reminded me of old world southern country club when I arrived complete with foyers, sitting rooms, chandeliers, fireplaces in several rooms, and a full staff in uniform. I gave it 3 stars because it is so old fashioned that it's pretty outdated and the chairs were banquet style and pretty uncomfortable to sit in for several hours. We were in an upstairs room and were served buffet style. The food was average and included some limited salad options, chicken breasts done piccata style, but there was no pasta to pair it with which I found odd. Instead there was a bland herb rice. There was also some kind of beef dish that I don't know if it really has a name, it was pieces of beef in a dark sauce, but it also didn't have much flavor. Other sides included: very dense mashed potatoes, steamed green beans with almond slivers, and steamed veggies (squash i believe). The staff was very nice and the room was effective for the Q&A panel but I was really unimpressed with the food, and would have rather had the Q&A in the classroom we were using because the chairs were a lot more comfortable.

No matter what question you might have, they are always available and seem genuinely interested in helping you. limited equipment selection. But let's be honest. Do you really need 10,000 square feet of a zillion items to be considered a good store (PGA Super Store)? Nope. They have what you need with a few extras. Not to mention the prices. Can't beat them. The demo clubs are a great way to try new equipment and the used rack is an inexpensive way to get into the game. All they need is a coffee pot and donuts and I'd be there every morning.

Skip this one and do something else or go into ATL for mini-golf…read more The fun center is a lot of work. Plan to do maintenance if you want to play these courses. So many holes required removal of debris, fixing or replacing elements, rearranging the greens... some greens need actual repairs to be able to play them. Some water features worked while others were dry with pumps and hoses and trash. The place needs a good cleaning too! However, the bathrooms were clean, so a bonus point there. The young adults working there were also super friendly and helpful.
