The woman we spoke with knew exactly what they were and still encouraged us to apply. After paying the application fees, we were told that fish tanks weren't allowed on the second floor. That was disappointing, but we were offered a first-floor unit instead. However, without a clear yes or no from us, they gave the first-floor unit to someone else, saying that person applied first--which, while disappointing, was understandable. We then reached out to let them know we could have family take the axolotls so we could still move into the second-floor unit, but we never received a response. In the end, we were denied--despite having excellent credit scores (796 and 730), income well above the required threshold, and a perfect rental history with no late payments. We were told (after being told we were the first to apply) that 10 others had applied and they chose someone they felt was a better fit. It's now been three weeks, and the apartment is still listed. Just a heads up--proceed with caution and don't get your hopes up like we did

I have been here since my apartment was built in 2019. The property is well maintained, the owners care about curb appeal, every maintenance issue that I have had (which is not a lot) has been handled and fixed promptly. Management is a small company, think family-owned business style, so sometimes you don't get a response immediately, but they have always answered my questions well, and been nice to deal with. Management contacts you well in advance to offer a lease renewal, especially when there is an increase in rent and they are willing to work with you and extend your lease, if you are in the process of buying home, which we are. It has been really great living at Silo over the past 6+ years and we wouldn't be leaving if we didn't find our dream home!

I've never in my life gone through what this building management has put me through. I am being…read moreadvised by my lawyers to sue due to the owners violating the Fair Housing act by evicting me and discriminating against me for being a domestic violence victim. The owners and management are corrupt heartless individuals. Not only do they dress and act extremely inappropriately but they are violating the Fair Housing act. They falsely advertise themselves as a luxury apartment complex. Meanwhile, this is not a luxury apartment complex if anything it's a run down building complex with some minor renovations to trick tenants into thinking it's nice. The apartment is extremely run down and gross, the toilet leaks black water/mold (the owners do not care) and the windows rattle from the wind. They are now evicting me because I went through a domestic violence situation and had no choice to call the cops to protect my safety. The claimed me calling the cops "disturbed the peace of the community" yet no neighbors complained I spoke with all my neighbors. this is discrimination against domestic violence survivors, and violates the fair housing act. My Lawyer is advising me to sue them but I am so afraid of the people that work here (the landlord has intimidated me in what I deem to be a belittling abusive way and the building owners or whoever they are threatening me with legal action if I don't leave by next month meanwhile i'm dealing with a domestic violence trial and currently in a state of panic) but I hate this apartment so much I just want to get out and I am scared to sue due to the way they have intimidated me but given the fact every lawyer I spoke to said this is illegal I am considering filing a lawsuit. I don't know what they expect if someone is in serious danger to not call the cops? I've spoken with domestic violence hotlines that have all advised me to sue and told me this is illegal but they scare me the people who work here due to how cruel they have treated me after all I went though. My only advice would be to NEVER move here. I wish I read the reviews before moving here seeing as all the other reviews, I see say they all say same thing! They all mention how rude the staff is here and how run down and gross this complex is. This building has put me through hell when I am already in a state of shock and panic due to losing my father recently and on top of dealing with a trial being a domestic violence victim. I'm spending nearly 3K a month to live in a run down apartment where I cannot even sleep at night due to the windows rattling from the wind. Not to mention the AC/heating unit is awful it leaks toxic liquid and one time a man woke me up and stormed into my apartment when I was basically naked screaming at me to turn the AC off because it was leaking into the appt below me. It even has a label that says it causes cancer and fertility issues. I had no health issues before I moved here and after a year of sleeping under this AC/heater I know have breathing issues and trouble sleeping it also it not central AC its a cheap AC that barely heats or cools the appartment. Do not move here unless you want to pay thousands of dollars to live in a run down gross appartment or possibly be evicted if you call the cops in a dangerous situation. Also both pools are the size of a large bath tub and filled with pee. This is the worst living situation i've ever been in and the fact i'm paying nearly 3K a month to live in such an awful place makes me wish I did my research and read the other reviews before moving into such a disgusting place. Not to mention the property manger also dresses extremely inappropriately he wears such short shorts that it is not okay. I saw in another girls review she said the same thing and it seems this building has some serious issues they don't care to fix. They only care about harassing their tenants rather than making changes to improve the quality of life here. I've lived in LA, NYC, Mass, etc. many places but this is by far the worst experience i've ever had at an apartment complex. The app also scams you into paying late fees even when you pay your rent on time. WORST APARTMENT COMPLEX EVER AND WORST MANAGEMENT IVE EVER DEALT WITH. This is my personal opinion for the record but I genuinely believe the owner is a psychopath because who evicts a domestic violence survivor in their 20's for calling the cops to protect herself? Only someone without a heart or soul.

Malta Gardens, Malta Pointe etc. After living here for years, dealing with multiple Maintenance Calls, only having to get no response, or no service back in return for things I needed fixed, like MOLD on wooden tiles, Mold underneath my tiles and on the wall. Which is all coming from something I called and told them about and they said they would come and fix. They never did, also they decided to SUPER GLUE and staple a drawer together to fix it, and the other drawer just fell apart like the first one (maintnence came and fixed that one already but i assume he probably did the same thing to that. Laurie is the manager that runs this site and the others from what i gather. She's done nothing but lie, and give us run around's the entire time on paying rent etc, so we payed last months rent late, its now the next month, we gave her a check on the 31st of last month, apparently she still wants to charge us late fees and court costs for the month of August saying that it falls into lasts months late rent. And its only the 9th, we have until monday to leave. NOTE: WE owe nothing from last month, AND we payed EXTRA into this month. We have the money, but were going to court instead. Don't let these people rob you, take them to court like we are. Laurie Hayner is the manager by the way, if you ever come to any of these places, please get far away, theres a reason this place is drug infested and everyone gets evicted from here. Steer Clear of solomon apartments or anything owned by them, and Laurie Hayner. All of this information is true, not a single word was a lie.

Someone suggested Geothermal. Did a little research and found this company. From the beginning, from the first meeting at their office, until the closing on my house, their professionalism, knowledge, understanding, and willing to work with me on my vision, was nothing short of exceptional. Even after the closing when I was having water issues, not directly related to the Geothermal system, they continued to go above and beyond to help address the issue and worked with me until it was resolved. The Geo system itself is incredible. It's quite, efficient, and hardly generates any electric. It's computerized as well so they can monitor the system from their office and adjust it to give me and my wallet the max benefits. I wouldn't choose any other geothermal company if you are considering geothermal. I'd choose them on their professionalism alone. Their involvement every step of the way was second to none. Start to finish, no one beats Aztech!

In 2013 they installed my geothermal HVAC, retrofitting my 100 year old farmhouse without ripping it apart when they installed ductwork. They even incorporated my propane furnace (at my request) to use that blower system and provide backup heat in severe cold. When the furnace blower failed earlier this year, they replaced it temporarily with a spare furnace of theirs, and now have installed the long term solution, a hydronic air handler with electric coil for back up on severe cold. So now my heat is efficiently provided just with electricity, and since I generate my own electric with photovoltaic, I now live in a near net zero home. No more propane bill, and I've paid in advance for a lifetime of electrify, so no more electric bills! And a home that is evenly heated and comfortable all the time. If you are considering geothermal, this is the company to contact. DO NOT go to a plumber! Aztech has real engineers who calculate heat loads after testing how tight the house is and design the system accordingly, not seat of the pants like your plumber.
