Very convenient hours for people who are thirsty when the BC Liquor store isn't open haha…read more Prices are reasonable for a private liquor store, and a decent selection of Spirits. Great selection of beer and wine. They also sell munchies (chips, chocolate bars etc.) Great service both times we came here this weekend (we got thirsty a few times)

I moved to Osoyoos earlier this year and was soon a regular patron at Sage Liquor Store as it was…read morethe closest to our home and within walking distance. It soon became apparent that the older, grey haired, thin faced woman who works the till had a serious problem serving me. I went out of my way to make small talk and be friendly even though she always gave me the absolute creeps. She's one of these annoying, fake types that gives off bad vibes and just tries way too hard. The guys who work there, however, are awesome; very easy going and well... normal. Unfortunately, it was this woman who seemed to get most of the evening shifts which is when I would often stop by. I caught her more than once following me around the store and watching me like a hawk with her beady eyes. I'm not white and I'm very much aware of how certain white people treat people of colour in these small towns (hello Kelly Pocha). It was clear this woman has a problem with people of colour; she racially profiled me, criminalized me and harassed me from the start. After several months of shopping there, spending hundreds of my hard- earned dollars, she had the audacity to tell me last Monday evening, while I was paying for my purchases, that I had to leave my shoulder bag with her up front if I shopped there again. She said it was because "the owner said". Uh huh. Right. This is the best you can come up with? I smirked and said nothing. But then she started to quiz me about my bag, where I got it, what kind was it, just asking these inane questions while I was trying to leave the store. I wanted to laugh in her pointy pasty face then and there because she was just trying so hard to power trip. It was sad and gross. But you have to feel sorry for people like that because that's all they have. Obviously, this woman is a not too bright racist with a huge chip on her shoulder though so I'm leaving this review to warn other non-white patrons. If "the owner" reads these reviews, he may want to consider firing this old bat though because she's driving local business away. All you're going to wind up with is tourists who don't know any better. There's another woman of color who left a review stating she was also rudely treated when shopping here months ago. Hmm, wonder who the culprit was? Clearly this store is unfriendly, hostile even, to anyone not white and I think it all begins with who you hire to be the face of your place.

Your one stop place to get everything an adult could want! Local wines (from all over the…read moreOkanagan), beer, cider, and hard liquor are available. I stopped by because I couldn't make it to Naramata to hit a winery. I googled and this place was selling it (at a reasonable price). The place is fully stocked as is so well laid out. If you don't have time to hit your favorite winery, this place is the best thing! The service was also wonderful. I was looking for a particular ice wine and the lady went above and beyond to see if they had any in the back. Then she recommended alternative options with similar price points. It was incredible! Thank you and I will definately be back!

Absolutely ridiculous. I was harassed at this store because there was someone without ID who had…read morebeen in prior to me going in, and apparently asked for the same beer brand I was looking for. The clerk asked if she could help me find something so I told her what I was looking for. Right away she became belligerent and said i had better not be 'bootlegging' for the 'kid' who had 'just been in' asking for the same beer. I told her no, and told her I am fully of age and asked if she's like to see my id. She didnt think that was funny and threatened to not sell to me! I was like, what are you even talking about?? I am of legal age and am here to buy something, and because she didnt like me responding to her threat she said "thats it im not selling you anything'. I couldnt believe it. I asked her "so you come up to me and harass me, and now you say you wont sell me anything?" She argued back with me about how she didnt harass me and again said she would not sell me any product. I put the beer down and told her that i'd be talking to her manager. She laughed and said "you are banned from this store". I called her a "C*nt" and left the store. I do NOT recommend this store. I have never been treated with such disrespect at a place of business for no reason... go to another liquor store.

Osoyoos was so beautiful, and Silver Sage Winery was the most wonderful winery we visited while in…read morewine country. The wine tasting was hosted by the hilarious Elena, the owner of the winery. The audience could not stop laughing as if we were all at a comedy show. She gave explanation of each wine we tasted while her partner poured the samples. In total, we were able to taste 12 out of the 13 wines that the winery produced. We started on white wines, moved onto reds, and finished with dessert wines. Honestly, everything was absolutely delicious. If I lived closer, I would be here regularly and store a bunch of their bottles in my pantry. On this trip, I bought a bottle each of the 2022 Sage Grand Reserve, 202 The Pearle, 2020 Blueberry, and 2022 The Flame. The whole experience was amazing, from the gorgeous vineyard to the delicious wine tasting.

They were all so unlike anything I've had before. And she took us through twelve wines! The place itself is gorgeous and I'd love to have a picnic here. The only downside was the tasting was quite rushed. At one point I wasn't done my wine before water was added to rinse things out. At another time my friend was still drinking her wine when a different wine was added to the glass.
