Where to start. Classes are ok for younger kids (mines 7). But if you ever want to talk to them,…read moreyour best bet is to go in person. Never once the entire year and a half my child has been there have I ever received an answer to my emails, or facebook messages. If you call and leave a message good luck getting that returned as well. My daughter barely learned her routine in time for recital which was another $150 for fees and costumes. They have all year so what they were waiting for I don't know. And she still hasn't learned classic french positioning names. The main saving grace for this school is I can say my daughter is in ballet and it's less than $100 a month. Wish other schools in the area would come down some on their prices and we'd switch. Maybe if hubby gets that promotion we'll switch this year. And there is no where for parents to sit. Brand new studio and there are no mom rooms, no benches, they just throw a bunch of chairs here and there. They really should have had done more research on ballet studios before they built out the new space. And if someone brings a friend or their mother, forget it, you the paying customer have no where to sit. All in all, if you can afford it, go to queindit ballet or performing arts in the villages of stone oak. If you are on a budget and just want your child in ballet, then this is ok.

The owner has little training in these dance forms although she brags about being a swimmer and a dance team sponsor. She is disorganized and lacks communications skills with parents. She cannot keep teachers because she overrides their decisions constantly and she tells them to do things with the students that do not meet the criteria or technique they have been trained to do in college or with a dance company. If you want the best training, make the trip to San Antonio or Austin instead.

I can't even express how incredible Premiere Ballet Academy is. The environment is positive,…read moreencouraging and extremely professional. The students have a number of teachers who are all highly technical and very motivating. They've all been professional dancers (or are currently with a professional ballet company). It's undeniable how much these teachers love what they do! They are such great mentors. The dancers are also so supportive of each other! It's amazing to be in an atmosphere where everyone really builds up those around them. They are definitely one big family! I love the fact that Premiere is involved in the community and thrives on outreach. The dancers get the privilege of performing at various venues while really making a positive impact. The company dancers also get the opportunity to attend YAGP, the world's largest international ballet/contemporary competition which offers incredible scholarships and training opportunities.

My 3-year-old attended this daycare for almost 3 months and in this time his behavior took a turn…read morefor the worst. First, we were excited about the engagement we had hoped my son would have, he came home with worksheets to practice writing and tracing, we loved that but unfortunately the screen time allowed in this facility is excessive and was creating issues with his sleep habits and ultimately his behavior at home was becoming challenging we believe to be due to the excessive screen time. During the tour we were told the screen in the room was for educational videos and for music to be played for the children to dance to and sing along with. The daily report provided that my son was watching Jack Hartman for teaching American sign language, but the exposure to screen time far exceeded this. My son was coming home stating he had watched cartoons like Cocomelon, chu chu tv, etc. During Halloween my son started to fear jack o lanterns from something they showed the kids, he was even shown the Michael Jackson thriller video which the teacher claims was an "accident" ... after talking to the teacher to figure out what had happened, it became clear that they are just letting YouTube play the next videos without supervising what is being shown. We met with the Asst Director Ms Ashley and the Owner, Dr. Koshi (spelling?) and unfortunately our concerns fell on deaf ears. I wanted to know what the process was for picking these videos that are not educational and why parents aren't being told what their kids are watching and why their daily report is providing false information on what my child is being exposed to. We even reported that on several occasions when picking up our son as the teachers were bringing the kids in from outside that the teachers were asking the kids what they wanted to watch, and kids were asking for spiderman and frozen etc. On several occasions the screen was moved to a corner so that the parents couldn't see what was being shown. During thanksgiving they showed the movie the Wild robot without letting parents know this was going to be shown, the film is rated PG. They also showed them how the Grinch stole Christmas the Jim Carrey film which is also PG. I was never consulted or made aware about what my son would be watching or had watched. The use of the screens and the way the administration handled our concerns is very shady, for the price you pay for childcare and with their claims to be an educational facility to prepare children for school I do not trust that they are a good option for families that care about the quality of care and learning.
