In between these projects, we have had Green Acres trim, weed, and mulch our entire yard during this same period. During one of these mulching events, GAN&G created a beautifully landscaped island bed with multiple trees and plants. What an incredibly rude owner. I purchased a bottle of Inis Spray Cologne as a gift for my daughter…read morerecently. When she opened the box (it was not cellophane wrapped), it was only 2/3 full. I returned to the store, and the woman at the counter opened two other boxes of the same size for a possible exchange. One was about 1/2 full and the other was missing a smaller amount, still not full. Their solution? Offer me the fullest one or pour some from another bottle--what?! Larger sizes were cellophane wrapped, making me wonder if these had been testers. When I asked for a refund, stating that it is a defective product, the owner was called to the front and condescendingly refused, offering store credit only. I had spent a total of $232 at the store the day I purchased the cologne, just a week prior! The young girl at the counter was extremely kind and apologetic. However, the owner clearly does not stand behind her products or value customers. I have made many purchases at this store over the years. I will not be returning!

There was an OE parts search nationally for an OE small engine carburetor. Pipersville Garden…read moreshowed the part available and was ordered. The order was received and was instantly indentified as a Chinese aftermarket part and the inbound freight costs were 2 times more than it should be. After several contacts with the Pipersville parts person, this business stood by its representation of a correct part as posted. There was no comment from the company the same identical part could be purchased thought Amazon for $20 delivered yet Pipersville Lawn and Garden is charging $169.62. The parts person said he would charge anyone the same price. There was an attempt to contact the co-owner/manager of this business to discuss the issue. With no responses in a reasonable amount of time, there is the conclusion that this is the foundation of this business. This is a situation of deceit and lack of conscience that a business will seek any opportunity to take advantage of their customers.

I gave them them her cell number when I placed the order so they could call her. She would have told them she was on a short errand and they could leave the flowers on her doorstep. But they didn't call; they took the flowers back to the shop. So she didn't get the flowers on her birthday. We told them about this when we picked the flowers up today. They didn't apologize, they just said "sometimes our drivers call and sometimes they don't". Mistakes happen, but I don't remember the last time I've seen a store that openly admits they're indifferent to delivering on time. Needles to say, I'll buy flowers somewhere else next time.
