Keep in mind, I usually spend about $100 when all is said and done. I borrowed a neighbors truck to haul everything in. When I pulled in, there was not one customer in the parking lot. I had my two toddlers with me and it was pouring out. Since there was no one in the parking lot and I had my children with me, I decided to pull up right against the pumpkins (which is the covered/dry area) so it would be easier for me to load the pumpkins right in the back of the truck. As soon as I got out of the truck I was greeted with "Mamm, how about parking between the yellow lines" I looked over and did realize that there were parking spots, but again, it was pouring, I had my two toddlers with me and was just trying to make it a little easier by parking right next to the area where the register is, etc. I explained to the gentleman that it was a large truck (I borrowed, and was not used to backing in, etc.), that I had my kids with me and would only be a few minutes to make my purchase. He insisted I use one of the designated parking spots so that other customers could fit. The parking lot is the size of half of a football field, and I was the one and only customer in it. I got back into my truck and left. I then drove down the street to Holly Days, where not only did they guide me into a spot, they all ran over and insisted on helping me carry and load everything into the back without even being asked.

I met Chris and his team around the corner in our new community while they were replacing a…read moreneighbor's brick treads with PA bluestone treads and the work looked amazing. Knowing we needed to get our brick stairs repaired, we absolutely wanted to do the same bluestone treads. Chris stopped by and we worked on a slightly adjusted plan vs the neighbor's house. Chris did all of the work end to end... Researching my specific questions, acquiring the materials, and scheduling us within a couple of weeks. His team of masons are expert! They did an amazing job including the part I was most concerned about, core drilling the bottom treads and resetting the hand railings. Core drilling and setting in a cement product is the way to go. The railings were loose when we purchased the house. They are firmly set and should be for years to come. I am so glad I noticed them on a walk. So many of our neighbors are slowing down, stopping, or asking questions. I think the work is a hit!
