They not only do my taxes but I've learned how to get the most return back. Its like a yearly financial check-up and counseling. I also ask questions about rental property and investments. Love it! Edward is really prompt, he replies really quickly to all the little questions i come up with here and there. I love that he's available by phone and i can directly call him for any quick help. I had some changes later near the end of the tax filing and he was able to advise me on what to do and send in the corrections.

Edward gets it, and gets it done quickly! Highly, highly recommend. Thank you Sig CPAs!!

I am not a super trusting person when it comes down to my money but I have always felt like Lois has my back! I actually relinquish control (LOL) and 100% trust this woman who has the utmost integrity. After all she has that mid-western farm girl kindness that always comes through. I just adore Lois. I have seen her business grow and build. The foundation FFC is strong, trustworthy and very professional....and "how you do anything is how you do everything"...so it comes out in the business, as well as who they are personally. When I walk in the door of FFC every year I am grumpy...who the heck likes to get the Taxes done, paid, etc? I am always greeted with kindness and smiles by Xiomara, Jennifer, Carole, Linda, Anne, Lois, etc. I am so comfortable there that it makes the trauma of getting my taxes done, more manageable. They are all wizards in their field. Anne has helped me tremendously with loads of information on mortgages, loans, etc. She helped me since 2000 in getting the best loans for my Home that I own in Oakland. It was an unnerving process and she took care of me. Lois held my hand and my heart when my father passed away in 2001 and helped me to "smartly" invest the money I had inherited. I would have been lost with out her. She is smart and knows what she is doing. Lois is patient and never patronizing. My money has marinated with Lois' investments. She talked me off the ledge when the economy dropped. She has to wear that psychology hat with many off us...and she is good at it and her heart is in it. I love these gals. I love that they have all been together as a strong unit for years and provided us with the TIP TOP services that they do. I would highly (and have) recommend them to all.

One particular example of the help they gave me -- Anne knew I hadn't refinanced my mortgage. She called me in 2021 when rates were at the lowest, and got me through the process really quickly. That saved me over 25% of my monthly costs!

You're probably wondering why would I do such a stupid thing, well I have no excuse other than a host of problems that Plague me everything from losing my job going through a divorce losing half of everything I owned and then a little more. Moving to another city and losing my mother. After all of this I became very depressed for a while. I know I had to make some changes Starting with my taxes but I was way in Over my head, Not capable of doing them on my own especially after letting so many years go bye I was afraid if I did them I would miss a lot of things that would probably have given me a break on my taxes I was way in over my head in some of the worst tax debt, I happened to search through yelp and found several CPA's in Oakland. The first 2 CPA's I didn't even get out of the car to visit with them because they had no parking and the parking they had was too far away this was a problem for me because I couldn't walk so well after some minor surgery, I then came across Jerry Sung CPA and associates they have parking right in front of their building I gave them a call made an appointment but didn't make it there in time so I had to reschedule I finally got there the next day expecting just anybody there to take care of my taxes I actually met with Jerry Song, he got six years of taxes done In under Three hours he even got my stimulus check payment added to my 2021 taxes (All 3 payments) by the time I left I knew I had gone to the right place next year going to do my taxes super early because I now know where to go so you've heard my story if your problems are smaller he can get your taxes done even quicker I highly recommend Jerry sung CPA and associates and by the way I didn't have enough money to pay six years of taxes all at once so Jerry worked out A payment plan so now that problem in my life has been straightened out the others seems so much smaller so if you're looking for a good CPA think Jerry song Maybe he can take some of the tax weight off your shoulders like he did for me

Context: I've been using TurboTax to do my tax returns for the past ~7 years. As our tax situation has gotten more complicated (e.g. house, kids, investment income, etc.) I've gotten less and less comfortable that I was using TurboTax correctly. Finally I decided to seek out professional help and found Ryan. He was very easy to communicate with and patient with my tax questions. And after reviewing my situation, he found tax savings that far surpassed his rate (which was $1,000 for our taxes, but will vary based on your situation). It may have been the best $1,000 I've ever spent. I will definitely be working with Ryan again.
