Then when I get there tells me I also need the tiny code that was wrapped around the hose attachment (who the hell keeps that) for the barcode that is also on the receipt I brought in.. so drove all the way back out for nothing and paid 20$ for a useless item. No matter the time of year I love visiting Downtown Home & Garden. My previous review stated, "I love any store where I can get tulip bulbs, a new bird house, a winter hat shaped like a Christmas tree, a new cookie sheet and a loaf of Zingerman's bread" and all that still rings true. But these days I also add national parks merch, gear for my dogs, holiday decor, kitchen gadgets and cookbooks and, perhaps most exciting for a Polish broad like myself, a variety of Polish pottery pieces. In the spring and summer months I can be found perusing peony bulbs for my garden, hummingbird feeders, bird seed and squirrel proof bird feeders, planters, plants/starters for my veggie garden, pest control and fertilizers, plus a variety of lawn decor and sculpture pieces, etc. Some things can be kind of pricey but you truly get what you pay for. Even after years out in the elements everything I've bought for my yard here is still in amazing condition, my plants from here always yield the most delicious fruits and veggies, and the little birdies are so happy with the snacks we provide them from their bins.

While the work crews differ, and at times work is outsourced, we were very impressed and happy with the results, especially the paver patio. As with everything, things may not always work as expected, however, Superior operational management listens and does rectify any issues that don't measure up. Overall we are very happy with Superior and recommend them for your landscaping and gardening needs.

After watering, much of the water runs across the surface instead of soaking into the soil, making it difficult to establish healthy plants\. Another serious concern was the presence of small plastic fragments mixed throughout the soil. I found various types of microplastic pieces scattered in the material, which is unacceptable for a product intended for gardening and growing food. This raises concerns about contamination and overall quality control. Another major issue was the large number of weed seeds in the material\. Within a short time, I had hundreds of weeds germinating throughout my raised beds, requiring constant hand weeding\. This has added many hours of unnecessary work\. I expected a quality garden soil suitable for raised beds, but instead I've had to spend additional time and money adding organic matter and other amendments just to improve its structure\. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this product and hope the company improves its quality control\.

The hardware didn't fit and so I tried to return it, offering to pay a restocking fee (the fit issue was mine). Because I was DAYS past their 30 day cutoff they refused any sort of accommodation to return the items (mind you, this is thousands of dollars in hardware). I found what I needed elsewhere while getting the run around from these guys. After months of back and forth they came back and said they would accept the returns for store credit, which is what I suggested at the beginning. Only now it was useless because of their piss poor customer service. go elsewhere, do not do business with these people.

I bought merchandise from Look in the Attic that was not what I expected. I tried to return these…read morenight stand handles and paid UPS to deliver them to Look in the Attic. The package was returned by Look in the Attic as "Refused." The website of Look in the Attic has a form to be filled out and instructs the customer to return the package with a label. There are no instructions regarding the label. I telephoned the company and was told by an operator that I had to contact the returns office by email. I did and never received a reply. The end result is that Look in the Attic will not allow me to return unacceptable merchandise at my own expense, and I did not want to pay a second time to try return the same merchandise. I therefore instructed American Express not to pay the charge, filed a complaint with the state attorney general, filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and am filing this review with Yelp.
