There are also kits for making specific quilt designs, and books about quilting. The store also offers quilting classes at reasonable prices. A class to make a wall hanging, for instance, may be only $25. Quilting isn't an inexpensive hobby, either, so I'm sure local quilters can appreciate that. The atmosphere was very friendly, too. Customers were chatting among themselves and with the staff when I visited. The clerk was more than happy to discuss their classes and the store's website with me at length.

I wouldn't have picked the trim, matting in the same way if I didn't have their guidance. Also while custom framing is an investment, Phoenix has many different options (e.g. they even have a 3rd type of glass so you're not stuck with either REALLY expensive museum glass or nothing). It was very expensive $31.07 and then they charged me a $13.50 shipping fee UPS ground. So for a $44.57 frame I would expect it to have nice fitted corners and ready to hang. Maybe they could ask how you want to hang it or not........

A face shield alone doesn't protect either the wearer or anyone else. I haven't been wearing a mask everywhere for almost a year to get infected by covid-19 now, so after the maskless employee approached me to ask if I was finding everything. I left the cards I'd picked out and exited the store. On the door of the store it says masks are required, so why the employee wasn't wearing a mask is anyone's guess.

Until one day the guy who worked there popped in, unannounced, at my house to harass me about a check that bounced. He may have been drinking, too. Why not just call? Isn't that why we used to put our phone numbers on checks? What a turnoff! From that day forward, not a penny went to that crappy store. Then, Tractor Supply opened up. It is bright, clean, cheerful and all of the employees are happy to be there. They play hokey country music on the PA and I can bring my dog there. Almost everything is well stocked, though the discontinuation of the chocolate frosted peanut butter krispie treats is baffling. They were so good but not for the waistline! I know, I know. I am a 'no chains' person. But, TSC has delivered to my comfort zone. Dog and cat supplies, tools, fencing, chicken supplies (an astounding selection of chicken treats!), horse supplies including supplements from Uckele in Blissfiend, farm style home decor and gifts. Breyer horse models, seeds, baby chicks and ducklings in spring and yes they will show you how to set them all up. There are always sales going on, so you will not leave empty-handed!
