I found M&M Construction on Angi. We had a leak in the basement from our foundation. I called two…read morecompanies to get an estimate and M&M came in about a third of the price for roughly the same work, though their guarantee was about half (10 years) of the other company. Modesto and his sons were excellent--professional, prompt, detailed, and efficient. They sealed the foundation, installed a French drain, and buried the leaders so the gutters wouldn't deposit water along the foundation. They even replanted all of our shrubbery and laid down loom and grass seed to regrow the grass alongside of the house. They regularly communicated via text so I always knew what to expect. I later hired them to do interior work after a plumbing problem which they did once again with excellence. Modesto found the problem and suggested ways to mitigate future problems without trying to upsell me. This project involved pulling out sheetrock and finished carpentry, water mitigation, rebuilding walls, carpentry, and painting. Though it took them longer than expected because of the extent of the damage, he charged the same price that he had quoted. The work was excellent. This company will be on speed dial.

IMO of course :) They demoed our 9 brick stairs and 2 walkways in the front of my house and reinstalled using granite and concrete. They were professional, trustworthy, respectful, and took pride in their work and the product they delivered. They showed up and showed out everyday until completion and minded their business :) Modesto is the head! He's very thoughtful about the way he does business. He's realistic with quotes and he's a dude with A TEAM that delivers!. He stayed connected to the job and us from start to finish. We gave them the freedom to play with the final design and they did an OUTSTANDING JOB on something that's so not exciting, typically! I have used LJR for many projects over the years and they have always done exceptional work. My favorite thing about working with them is they ask me about every detail down to the exact placement of mirror or the color/type of a light switch. I hate when contractors make decisions without asking the property owner's opinion and with LJR you will always have the final say. They are also very neat and clean and always put down tarps and keep the dust down to a minimum. Most importantly they are meticulous with finishes and will not cut corners.
