I've been to Stoke Poke several times, and I've had a great experience every time. It's a small location tucked into the Daytona One complex across from Daytona International Speedway. Service has always been quick and friendly, and since I have a significant ginger allergy, I always have to ask about ingredients in the different salads and sauces. Staff has always taken the time to make sure it's not in my order. Went back recently as I was in the mood for something fresh. I always order the BYO Build Your Own bowl since I can make sure I don't accidentally get a wrong ingredient. I had the tuna on seaweed salad with mango, red cabbage, etc. Crunchy noodles on top and with the sweet soy which is my safest option. Everything was fresh and crisp. I'm in town for a training, and we got out early today. I hadn't had much for lunch and wanted to find something quick and tasty to enjoy the balmy Florida weather. After just a short, five-minute walk away, I found my answer. Poke to the rescue! I was only introduced to poke a few years ago. Like sushi in a bowl, and yet distinctly its own thing. Poke is a light and refreshing treat. Stoked Poke was quick and had several great options. They also offer smaller bowls, which was perfect since I was just getting a treat to hold me over until dinner. Fresh ingredients and assembled right in front of me, my poke bowl was just what I expected. I will say, I wasn't blown away by the poke. I've had better back home, and I was hoping for a premium poke experience in Florida. But the bowl was delicious, so I'm not complaining. I ordered the Pipeline with raw Ahi tuna. While it was good, I would try another option if I return. But honestly, I am probably going to go there for lunch tomorrow and try another option to see if I like it better. My only other issue is the actual title. It's a small thing, but my brain can't seem to work out "stoked" and "poke". Did the owners think stoke rhymed with poke (poh-kay)? I'm sure they didn't. But the play-on-words works better when written than spoken. But I guess I'm just a nerd, like that. Stoked Poke was a nice, little afternoon break. Start off with the Acia bowl , they had a mini option and it was so amazing we went back for seconds . Had the raw Calipoke taco it also was so delicious. I had to get a second helping as well!! Such a good place I am now addicted and so is my daughter, which is a big win she got a double helping of the OCI bowl too, and she got the shrimp tacos without the spicy mayo. read more

This past week I got lucky and was able to leave work early. I was craving some poke and figured it was about time that I gave Stoked Poke a try. It's a chain restaurant that has been taking our area by storm, so I figured it would be a good time. This restaurant is located within Daytona One. If you go all the way to the back, there's plenty of parking if you aren't lucky enough to snag a parallel parking spot. Inside is decorated very cool and with island vibes. The staff are friendly and willing to help with any questions. I wasn't sure what I wanted so I figured I would build my own bowl. I got the spicy tuna and the salmon with edamame, cucumber, mango, onions, ginger and crispy onions. For sauce, I got a mix of the spicy Mayo and homemade poke sauce. I wish the onions were thinly sliced rather than chopped, getting a few chunks in a bite was really overwhelming. Also, it may have been the spicy mayo but I couldn't taste the poke sauce so I probably wouldn't go for that one again. For a poke bowl, the flavors weren't as rich as I would've liked. This place definitely has potential if they get there flavors as good as some of the other restaurants in town. read more

First time here. The place was empty. I mean, not a single person was here. The counter person came out and I wondered what was up. I asked for help with what I should order. The girl was very helpful. All I knew was that I wanted some spicy tuna. She introduced some of the different bowls and recommended one. As she started to fix the bowl, I noticed the tuna and other protein (meats) were all just sitting out there in the open. I hesitated but thought, WTH. Once she finished fixing the bowl, it looked really good. This was a healthier option than what I was thinking of having, I think. I got home and walla, the meal was excellent. The tuna was good. The whole bowl was good. I didn't get ill or anything. I took a chance and got a good poke bowl. I guess it was empty because it was off hour for the rush. Maybe I just missed the rush. Good stuff. Well, the restaurant was definitely cute, with its greenery. It's just that the food was rather mediocre in my opinion. The set up is like a fast-casual restaurant where you go through a line and tell the worker which toppings you want in your poke or acai bowl. It reminds me of Chipotle in that way. Of course, you don't have to BYOB (build your own bowl). You could opt to order their pre-designed bowls. They also have street tacos. For some reason, I was just not impressed, but was rather underwhelmed with my poke bowl. Perhaps it's because it was evening time and the employees were acting as if they were very ready to leave work. Perhaps the toppings had been sitting out all day. Perhaps it's because the toppings area and food prep areas were messy. Maybe because the entire restaurant was empty. I don't know....the vibe and the food just didn't excite me. In my particular bowl, there was so much rice. I mean too much rice. And the special sauce was basically just soy. If it wasn't for the pickled ginger, I don't believe my bowl would have had much taste at all. But my husband liked his pulled pork tacos. read more

The place was empty on Friday night. There were two teenage boys running the place. One seemed to know what he was doing, the other seemed clueless. I only ordered an açaí bowl. It was a "small" but it was huge! The açaí was grainy in texture but tasted good. I ordered bananas, blackberries, and pineapple on top. The pineapple was canned which was unexpected and disappointing. For a $10 healthy dessert, you'd think their fruit would be fresh. Overall, it was okay but I probably won't be back. I ordered lunch from here this week. I ordered the pipeline bowl - ahi tuna as the protein, and a brown rice/spring mix 50/50 mix. This comes topped with Maui onions, sushi ginger, scallions, madani and house made poke sauce. Picking up was interesting. There's two doors to access the restaurant (photo from the one I walked in). I asked about my order, and the man behind the counter pulled it out of the fridge and pave it in a bag. I realized the dunk was missing after I started to walk out - and asked him, and he said they were out but had other similar things...ok. So I picked something else. There were no utensils in the bag - so asked about these as well (they're over by the drink machine). On to the food itself. The poke bowl was pretty underwhelming overall. The fish tasted ok - but was greying a little bit so not sure how fresh it was. The 'house made sauce' tasted a lot like soy sauce - and was pretty salty and not very flavorful. The bowl itself also didn't look super well put together (photo attached - I didn't mix it up at all). There was also a lot of rice - and not a lot of spring mix. I was excited to have a poke place near by. So I have visited twice now, the first time everything was delicious with just the right amount of sauce and toppings. The second visit, unfortunately, not as good. They topped my bowl with grey/brown looking avocado and a ton of sauce, so all you could taste was the pungent taste of the sauce which seemed to be mainly soy, and not the food underneath. Promising for sure, but probably won't be back for a while. read more

One star for cute name, clean tables and a mint dental pick in the restroom. 0 stars for the food. I thought they mistakenly gave me regular tuna instead of spicy because the fish was so bland. Tried to add flavor with extra sauce packets, but only served to make a wet, flavorless mush bowl. Lots of topping choices, but when the fish and sauces are flat, the toppings can't compensate. I have ordered in, to go, and pick up from this location probably 10 times. At first, the portion sizes were large and definitely worth the money. I have noticed over time the portions become MARKEDLY smaller. I'm talking like over half the original portion. Tonight, I ordered 2 açaí bowls and 1 poke bowl for my family. The servings were absolutely not enough in the poke bowl. They also were each missing 1 ingredient that I paid extra for. This was not an isolated event. The last FOUR TIMES I have ordered here the order has been WRONG. Do the employees even care to read the order? There is literally ZERO care to them putting these bowls together accurately- I watched them put my to go order together. (Because their internet was down and they didn't receive my order) If I ask for no jalapeños please don't put them. If I pay for extra avocado, please put it. I'm done coming here and I would encourage others to spend their hard earned money at an establishment that gives a shit. Plenty of other good spots in town to get açaí and poke. read more

I love this place! The vibes are awesome and the location super close to where I live. I always love to sit and eat here. I am very big on acai bowls and this is one of the best places I've been to. So many options on toppings, bases and fruits. I love how you can customize it very well. I make it a point to eat here at least once every two weeks. I have never tried the poke bowls, those aren't really my thing but the acai is where is is at! The problem is that lately, they don't put a lot of base in the bottom! They used to pile it up but now it's barley anything. One tip is creating a medium bowl, every time I eat the small it's not enough but the large is way too big. read more

I put no bacon on one of my tacos because I don't eat pork, it's like they put EXTRA bacon on it. Also ordered an açaí bowl that was half mango with a ton of extra add ins. They didn't give me the mango base and charged me for all the extra add ins but didn't provide them in my to-go order. The packaging isn't secure. The food here is always so yummy, I've been a customer for 2 years! Unfortunately, their prices keep rising and rising.
