Amazing Labrador This is our second Labrador we have been blessed to receive from Stofers Labs. Having a son with special needs, it is so important for our family to have a dog with a stable, calm, reliable temperament- we are impressed beyond words with the amazing quality of companionship that we found , both with our first Lab, and now our second one- truly loving! read more

We got our dog, Luke, from Stofer's Labs 10 years ago. He has been the most wonderful, loving family dog. He likes to walk/hike, swim, and generally hang out with us whatever we are doing. Luke is also intelligent. I'm amazed how much he understands. I recently put a deposit down with Stofer's for another lab puppy. read more

Stofer's Labs - Very intelligent and loving companion who is always ready to go whatever the destination. #stoferlab - Pet Training Near Me - Prunedale, California

Aubrey is the light of our life! I can not express how impressed I am by Kim's staff and facility. I was so worried about getting a lab because that's all I grew up with and I didn't know how I could get another after losing both my black and chocolate in two years (both 15 years old). But Kim talked me through the whole process and answered back so quickly. I felt awful for how many questions I had, but Kim was so nice every time! We have had her a few days now and WOW! At 8 weeks she sleeps through the night, has no issues in her crate (whimpers for maybe a minute max then silence), and knows to go to the bathroom in her box of shavings! She is so smart and loving but most of all the calmest lab I have ever seen for her age! And I've been around dozens of labs. I'm so impressed that even though it kills me to separate from her, I will be leaving her for training for two weeks to help with obedience training. My god parents were also so impressed that they immediately put in a deposit for Gracie and Bears pups coming this week. My grandpa is also looking into Sage and Bourbon pups for duck hunting because he was so in love with ours. Thank you again Stofer labs and Kim! I will certainly be getting Aubrey a friend in a year or two :) read more

My husband and I went on vacation in CA and stumbled upon a winery who had two wonderful labradors from Stofer's. We ended up finding a male available and bringing him back to the east coast. They are known for mellow labradors, and boy is our new buddy mellow. He is a wonderful temperament and adjusted quickly to a house with three little kids. I cannot rave about Stofer's more! We are so thankful that we took that trip and brought back the absolute best souvenir! read more

We picked out a handsome white/creme puppy from Stofer's Labs from Bear and Joy's December 2022 litter. They are known for having puppies with a calm temperament and they certainly delivered. Cooper is already sleeping through the night at 9 weeks and is doing very well with his training. It is clear that the Stofer's Lab family puts in the work early to provide customers with the best possible puppy. In addition, they provide abundant helpful information and guidance on their website (stoferslabs.com )to help you prepare for your puppy and care for them once they are in their new forever homes. Stofer's makes you feel like you have your very own personal assistant to help you with any questions you might have. Thank you to Kim and her team for providing such a wonderful addition to our family. Cooper is already so loved and we look forward to bringing him as much joy as he will bring to us. read more

We have recently added our third Stofer lab to our family. These dogs have the most wonderful temperment and I have the utmost respect for Kim and her breeding partners. Scott recently had our puppy for training and she came back confident and very easily to integrate back into our family. We would not consider any other breeder but Stofer Labs. read more

It has been 12 years since I got my puppy, Seneca, and it has been a joy ever since. What a wonderful companion he has been. Friendly, sociable with other dogs and humans. He loves to go and greet people on the street, and people fall in love with him. He is so smart that he can read my mind. I love to hug, kiss, and chew on him. I am appreciative to Kim and family for this blessing! read more

I will complete a longer form review later, but Kim Stofer and Stofers Labs run a world class facility. We got our beautiful lab puppy--the one and only Maisy--here, and had her early training, socialization here as well. We have boarded and had further training multiple times and could not be happier. From the professional and loving care, to emparting real knowledge on how to teach and train your dog(s), we feel very lucky to have Stofers Labs' support. This is so much so, that we drive Maisy over an hour (even with several boarding options nearby) each way to have her boarded and cared for with the other doggies that she can play with. If you are looking to buy, train or board a lab with a docile and friendly personality, you cannot do better than Stofers Labs. read more

Stofer's labs dogs are the best! Our Piper is almost 3 years old. She is easily the best dog I have ever owned. She doesn't bark, doesn't growl and is friendly to everyone she meets. And working with Kim has been a great experience. She has so many resources available on her website to help you with your dogs care. And if you text her, she usually gets back to you in a matter of minutes. Stofer's labs tells you that they love all the dogs they produce.. I feel that would be a really easy thing to say, but they really stand behind it. They have always been willing to help and give advice to help you and your dog. Also their boarding is great! They have a 1/2 acre dog park where the dogs get to play all, day. Much better then a kennel. I always take my dog back there when I go on Vacation and can't take her. read more

We got our handsome, smart, and mellow (most of the time) Tucker at Stofer's Labs. He just celebrated his fifth birthday! Tucker is so loving and sweet, yet he is better than our doorbell. He alerts us if someone drives up or walks on our property. Our son had major brain surgery a few months ago and he slept with our son providing positive therapy for him. He retrieves our paper everyday rain or shine. He loves his crate and retreats to it often to nap. Tucker is very good with other dogs, people he meets, and performs all kinds of tricks with hand signals. He is the most focused intelligent lab we have ever had! He brings us great joy. Thanks so much to Stofers Labs. Kit and Dennis King read more

Our family lost our black lab when he was a puppy. We were heartbroken and apprehensive to try again but a friend told me about Stofer's Labs, so we got on the list. When our turn came to receive a puppy, we were given so much support. Every silly and paranoid question I had was answered. Every email was answered. Kim was generous with her time and expertise. When we visited the farm, I was gobsmacked. It was pristine and lush. Beautiful running and training areas, gorgeous equipment, the nicest staff, and most impressively, the most behaved and sweet dogs I have ever been around. It felt like Labrador heaven. We were given a personal training session with a trainer and lots of information to bring home. We were delighted that our puppy already had some important behaviours in place-- sit, shake, and down. Our Watson is now 16 weeks old and Kim and her staff have continued to support us as we maintain the good job they did. I'm so grateful for Stofer's labs and I recommend a Stofer dog to everyone. What Kim and her staff has accomplished is nothing short of amazing. I love our dog and I love Stofer's. I wish I could give hem 10,000 stars. read more

We got our puppy from Kim four years back. We got very lucky and my dog is really nice. I could contact her any time I wanted help. She always gave us good advice. But we are having bad experience every time I drop him for boarding. Every time I leave him for boarding my dog comes home with some sickness/issues and I have to spend atleast one week to fix his problems. read more

We always wanted a family yellow lab. Takes a lot of research to find a suitable one. So glad to work with Kim and her staff. We decided on the basic good citizen training on the puppy before we picked up Mochi. It was a great decision. Mochi our yellow lab comes home with fully potty trained and basic commends. As stated Stofer's labs are smart, loving and mellow. We love our Mochi. She is now seven and a half going strong. Thank you Kim and Mark. read more

I took my time doing research into breeders before finally deciding to get a puppy from Stofer's Labs in the spring of 2020. My family and I could not be happier with our experience in getting our puppy from Stofer's Labs. Kim was always so responsive in getting back to me with clear answers to my questions about the process. You can tell that she really cares about her dogs. The Stofer's Labs website stresses smart, mellow and beautiful dogs, and that is exactly what we got with our puppy. He was incredibly easy to train thanks to the tips/instructions we received from Stofer's Labs. My family and I feel so fortunate to have found Stofer's Labs. I highly recommend this breeder to anyone who is looking for a lab puppy. read more

7 years later & we still can't believe what a doll our Pearl is. Moves from Texas, California, Idaho and she is always the most well behaved, loving girl all the time. She has the most amazing, calm temperament and people fall in love with her everywhere we go & she has been lots of places! You will absolutely not regret a pup from Kim & her clan. There is a difference!!! Pearl has been the best investment for our family by far in the responsibility and unconditional love our children have learned through her. read more

All my life I have been a pound puppy kind of person, always getting rescue dogs. But I had dreamed of someday having chocolate labs. I found Stofers after much research and recommendations from friends. My first pup, Angus, is now almost 5 years old. He has been the perfect combo plate of mellow and playful right from the start. Very easy puppy, ball-crazy when it's playtime, totally chill when it's not. At the time I had another older dog and he immediately made friends with him. Then last year, I got Islay, a female. Who knew there could be an even better dog than Angus. Islay is beyond sweet, unbelievably affectionate and easy to have around. My partner and I feel so lucky to have these Stofer's dogs, because they just seem to balanced compared to other dogs in our life - they don't bark unnecessarily, they aren't aggressive, they don't have any weird habits or neuroses. Unfortunately, they are too strong for me to walk, as I am a bit older. But that's my fault for not training them well. And, one more thing....they are absolutely gorgeous. I get so many compliments on their confirmation, their coats, their eyes. I have been completely changed from a pound puppy person to a Stofer's person. read more

We purchased our silver lab puppy from Stofer labs in August. We opted for the extended 4 week training program and finally got our puppy in September. Our puppy was amazing from the moment she arrived. She is mellow, sweet, and well behaved. She already mastered many commands and was completely potty and crate trained. Kim was quick to answer any questions I had and clearly breeds great dogs. I have three kids and our puppy loves my kids and is so sweet, this is clearly because of the way Stofer labs treats them. I highly recommend Stofer labs. read more

Love Stofer's Labs! Kim and her staff are not only incredibly knowledgeable, but also loving and nurturing to all the dogs they care for. We purchased our lab from Kim 7 years ago and regularly board him with her. We've had 5 of our neighbors/friends also purchase puppies from Kim! Stofer's Labs breed beautiful, smart and loving dogs :) read more

We left our Mini Schnauzer Audrey here for almost 2 weeks while we were out of the country. I visited several months before our trip and was immediately impressed by the facility/grounds. There are many enclosures for dogs, the majority of them being Labs of all ages. The dogs behave so well, it's quiet and just doesn't seem like any boarding facility I have ever been to. Kim (the owner) was very pleasant and always got back to me quickly when I had questions. I believe everyone that works here is family; either way, all were very helpful! I was concerned because Audrey had never been left for that period of time before, and when we did leave her, it was with a friend. But after meeting Kim and seeing the facility, I had no worries! Audrey was taken care of very well and was happy and healthy when we picked her up. I highly recommend Stofer's Labs! read more

Got my wonderful white lab here in 2011. He is the best lab ever! Very well mannered and not hyper at all. He loves people and is an amazing dog with all my 4 children. He gets so excited when he gets to go to doggie camp when we go on vacation. This makes me feel like he truly enjoys seeing Kim and all her adorable dogs. Kim is amazing! She just"gets dogs" and has helped me numerous times with helpful hints about caring for my dog or walking him correctly. She is so passionate about sharing her knowledge. My dog just loves both her and her husband. I would not hesitate to recommend both her mellow, well trained puppies as well as her boarding facility where the labs roam around and interact with other labs!!! read more

I purchased my Labrador puppy from Stofer's Labs and the service I received was absolutely amazing. Kim Stofer and her entire family were always welcoming whenever we visited. Her home is beautiful and all her dogs and puppies are well cared for. My puppy received additional training so when we brought him home he was completely crate trained and knew basic commands. My puppy is now just over a year old and Kim Stofer is still available to answer any questions I may have. Everyone that meets my puppy can't help but to compliment how beautiful and mellow he is. I'm so thankful for Stofer's Labs! read more

Stofer's Labs - simply the best! We brought our lab rescue here for a pet sitting day to see if we could ramp up to boarding. We had such a horrible previous boarding experience with another provider that traumatized her. Given this experience, we were a more than a little nervous. The entire team at Stofer's Labs was top notch - so loving and competent. Beautiful facilities. When we picked her up she was relaxed and tired! I can't say enough about this wonderful place. Thank you Kim and everyone at Stofer's Labs for treating our dog with such loving care! read more

Stofer's Labs is amazing! They are so knowledgeable and helpful. Kim and the rest of the family truly care for all animals. We have a mellow, well-tempered yellow Lab that we consistently board at Kim's whenever we go out of town. Our dog loves playing with the other dogs and always come back tired and clearly has enjoyed his week at "camp". Kim is so kind and responsible in running her business. The care and attention they give the the dogs is comparable to none. I highly recommend Stofer's Labs to anyone looking to board or take home a Lab. They have great training packages for the dogs too! read more
