Adj: Marvelous Mall, Superb Shopping…read more Westfield Galleria at Roseville is my favorite shopping mall in the greater Sacramento area. There aren't that many malls in our metro, so we don't have many choices, shopping plazas yes, but malls, no. I grew up going to malls a lot for fun (window and for reals) shopping, for hanging out with my cousins and friends, and I have lots of great memories from all the fun I had at different malls, mostly Arden Fair and Florin Mall, but sadly there's not a lot of malls left. Westfield Galleria at Roseville is by far the nicest in our region so I enjoy coming here. The mall itself is huge, it spans a couple of blocks. No matter which end of the mall you start at, you'll make your way through. The parking can be quite challenging on a weekend, but if you're willing to park up higher in the parking structure or out in the sun, you'll find parking more easily. There's also EV charging for a fee for those w/electric vehicles. There's something for everyone here, from the large dept stores like Macy's and Nordstrom that anchor the mall, to the food court with all the delicious mall foods, snacks, and drinks, to clothing stores, home goods stores, sporting goods, to Daiso, there are so many choices and so many interesting things to look at and try. There are even luggage stores and seasonal (holidays) stores. For those who don't care to acquire more stuff, you can have some pretty fun experiences here as there's the movie theatres and arcades so it's something else you can do rather than just shop and eat. My kids enjoy all the toy stores and when they were little, they loved playing on the Kaiser sponsored kids indoor play structure, which is a great place for some rest for parents and for kids to burn off some energy and get out their wiggles if they're getting restless (or uninterested) in the shopping experience. Overall, Westfield Galleria at Roseville remains a clean, spacious, and well-maintained shopping mall and I hope it stays that way and continues to see new additions to offer different stores and more facilities improvements and updates.

Disabled customers are clearly not welcome at the Westfield Galleria or the Fountains…read more Based on current statistics, approximately 40-45% of Americans live with some form of disability. Yet only a small percentage are wheelchair users, meaning millions of people live with "invisible disabilities" that are routinely ignored by developers, property owners, and even code enforcement agencies that continue approving projects without meaningful accessibility. At these shopping centers, there appear to be more EV charging spaces than accessible parking spaces. During repeated visits, I often found only a couple of handicap spaces near major entrances, forcing disabled shoppers to circle parking lots or park long distances away. I have also encountered extremely heavy, non-ADA-compliant doors that are difficult and painful to open. When concerns are raised, the response from some businesses is simply to "enter through the mall," which requires disabled individuals to walk even farther just to access a store. That is not equal access. For the many shoppers living with disabilities -- including those with mobility limitations, neurological conditions, chronic pain, balance disorders, and other invisible disabilities -- the experience here often feels exclusionary rather than welcoming. Accessibility should not be treated as an afterthought or an inconvenience

From Daiso to Bath and Body Works to Ulta to Old Navy, that pretty much sums up all of my shopping needs in one place. I like that all of the stores are still clean and not trashed yet. Maybe because no one really frequents here yet but I hope they stay clean and new unlike the Old Navy and Ulta on Laguna Blvd. There is a great variety of restaurants too. They're not 4-star, sit-down-with-a-menu type restaurants but I like all the options while I need a break from shopping. Also, as I'm writing this, there are Holidays decorations around the complex. I LOVE that. It's a nice touch to get you in the Christmas mood.

Adj: Comprehensive and Convenient…read more Ahh, Delta Shores, Delta Shores, how you've grown. As long time Sacramentans, we keep up w/development news and I recall when my hubby first told me about this huge shopping complex coming up between Elk Grove and Land Park off I-5. It was just empty land for so long, but suddenly, there were going to be lots of homes getting built here and traffic might get real heavy, but first infrastructure has to come up first and a shopping complex, the biggest anchor of which was going to be a Walmart and also RC Willey, the furniture home store. This was back in 2018 and now, just w/a blink of an eye, it's been here over 7 years! We come here quite a lot as it's conveniently located for us and there's a lot of a little bit of everything here. From coffee and some sweet treats at Panera or Starbucks, to getting a haircut at Great Clips, to getting groceries and essentials at the Super Walmart, to arts and crafts supplies at Hobby Lobby, we really could and sometimes do spend several hours here. Then there's the many clothing stores from Ross to Old Navy to the boutique stores, everyone's style can be found at Delta Shores. I personally enjoy browsing Daiso b/c there's so many cute things here and the knick knack patty whacks here are often really useful by design in Japan even if they're made in China quality, but great value and affordable prices, lol... We enjoy coming to the theatre here too, to catch a (usually kids) movie, but occasionally a date night movie too. The dining choices here are endless from fast food In-N-Out, Habit Burgers, or Sonic for burgers, or Chipotle for a quick but "fancier" burrito or Panda Express for Chinese food, to more sit-down places like Koshi Ramen and Firehouse Crawfish, we've always found something we like so that we're not having the same cuisine over and over. We like the sweet treat places here too for a healthier drink at Jamba Juice or a mochi donut at Happy Mochi or a boba drink at Tastea. After that you can walk off your meal or dessert at RC Willey or Floor & Decor In short, Delta Shores has so much to offer b/c of how it's just massive and it houses so many different kinds of shopping, dining, desserts, coffee shops, and even practical services like a dentist office with multiple specialties and also other services like internet and mobile w/the Xfinity store or T-mobile and you can even mail your packages at a UPS store. They even hold festivals every semi-annually or so for the community to draw more shoppers and allow their stores to display their goods and services. Overall, this is a comprehensive shopping plaza and it provides lots of products and providers in one convenient location.

Is Arden Fair my favorite mall? No, but it is close to where I live and always gets the job done!…read more Arden Fair is a big sized mall with plenty of parking - it obviously gets pretty busy on the weekends and especially around the holidays! When I visit, I usually stop into stores like Claire's, Foot Locker, Hot Topic, Lush, Macy's and Sephora. They also have a Miniso, Pandora, Spencer's, Coach and a brand new Pop Mart - just to name a few! Their food court is pretty decent offering Charley's Phillysteaks, Taco Bell, Panda Express and even Sbarro. They also offer different places to eat and grab drinks around the mall such as Cinnabon (my family's personal favorite), Jamba Juice, Wetzel's Pretzels and Hot Dog on a Stick. Santa and the Easter Bunny even visit for photos during their respected holidays! Overall, I'm not really sure what to say about the value, each business is differently priced obviously depending on where you go and the service is the same. I tend to only come to Arden Fair Mall when I need something specific and try my best to get in and out!

My daughter was simply trying to choose which animal she wanted to ride, and instead of being patient, the employee told her to "just pick one." When I helped my daughter onto the horse, she was a little scared and said so. Instead of offering reassurance in a kind way, the employee raised her voice and said, "you're fine." It was very off-putting and not how anyone--especially a child--should be spoken to. When working with kids, a little kindness and patience go a long way. This experience definitely took away from what should have been a fun moment.

Did I mention Home Goods? Too many stores to list! It's not always the case that you find a mall this size with such a varied offering, and there's more than I listed above. Parking is plentiful and this place is well kept considering the amount of traffic that comes through here. The staff in these stores are usually really friendly and helpful. The outlets are located right by the iron point light rail stop. Parking here on weekends can be tricky as the parking lot does fill up.
