We took home a few samples and decided on what we wanted. We then scheduled a time for Kipp to come by and do a formal measurement and quote. No pressure - no gimmicks. Kipp knows his stuff about flooring. We then arranged to have the carpet installed. They worked around our schedule to set up the install. We moved many of the little things but the crew that did the installation handled the big furniture items and were very careful. The installation crew that Spencer Flooring uses were professional, knew their craft and were very polite. They did a nice job of cleaning up also. We are really happy with the carpeting and the overall experience and I'd highly recommend using Spencer Flooring.

They let us know it was out of warranty and then came out to look at our concern. Within days they sent out a couple of gentleman to fix the countertop. The fix was perfect and we couldn't be happier our kitchen countertops are beautiful. Artistic didn't charge us for the half day job and called us right afterwards to make sure all was ok. It was more than ok it was perfect. A lot of companies install kitchen countertops but if you want the best and a company that truly stands behind their work give Artistic Stone Works a call. This review is a long time coming. Since the first job we had David DeLima do, we had him do…read moreanother job in 2022 to do the rest of the house. The second job was a nightmare. 2+ years later we have failing floors both downstairs and upstairs. Vinyl planks that were cut short were sliding out from under the baseboards. He installed quarter round (wood) molding around our bathtub instead of cutting the flooring flush - wood and water don't mix well. The entire bottom floor that was installed on concrete is missing a vapor barrier. David came back to take a look at the floor a couple of times and blamed the product not the install. Despite his assurances that he would make it right and "take care of us" he has not been responsive to our calls and texts. He says he has since gone out of business, which I'm not sure if that is true because his contractor's license is still active. At this point my wife and I are gathering our documentation and reporting him to the licensing board and will try to go after his Performance Bond that he was covered under during the installation. Let him deal with the state and not have to deal with him anymore ourselves.

We had a fantastic remodel of our bathrooms and kitchen. D & M are not "order takers" - They are…read moresalesmen. They helped us out to figure our what we wanted and made it happen. I was particularly impressed at how clean they left our home each day. We expected a mess, but they set the work to minimize our inconvenience. D&M also made multiple "while you are at it" minor repairs in the work area. Unlike other contractors we have worked with, D&M took responsibility for the quality of their sub-contractor's work. I did not have to be the QA inspector. Why not 5 stars? The billing process was not a smooth as possible. As changes were made, the invoice was was revised without versioning. This lead to confusion as to whether we were looking at the last version or the second-to-last version. There were also errors in the billing. Honest errors - most the them were in our favor. The financing options did not support the business owner's cash flow needs - only an initial disbursement and final payment, when initial, mid-point, and final payment schema would have matched the work flow. It was awkward to be asked to approve final payment before all work was done. We ended up using financing for 80% of the work so D&M would be paid for the excellent already completed, and the final payment out-of-pocket. Would I use D&M again? Absolutely.
