Dr. Daniel had taken my blood pressure before the procedure and found it to be at such a high reading that he held off on performing the root canal that day. Dr. Daniel suggested that I immediately go to my family doctor and have my blood pressure checked again. As a result, I was placed on blood pressure medication and able to get my readings under control. I was able to reschedule the root canal shortly thereafter. 1/5 - Extremely Unprofessional, Terrible Management, and Complete Disrespect for Patients' Time…read more This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a dental office. I had a confirmed appointment at 1:00 PM, arrived on time, and ended up waiting nearly TWO HOURS without being seen. During that time, I watched multiple patients who arrived after me get called in while I was left sitting in the waiting room. Nobody bothered to provide an update, an explanation, or even acknowledge the unreasonable delay. When I finally approached the front desk to complain, I was told that my appointment had been moved from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM because they were supposedly having trouble verifying my dental insurance. The most frustrating part is that nobody informed me about this change until I complained at approximately 2:30 PM! I have been a patient at this location before, which makes this situation even more disappointing. I personally spoke with the office manager, Kaylen, and requested a written explanation documenting why my appointment had been changed without notifying me and why I had been left waiting for so long. Kaylen refused to provide me with anything in writing. As the office manager, I expected better communication, professionalism, and accountability. The receptionist, Marvion, was equally disappointing. Throughout the situation, his attitude made me feel as though my concerns and the inconvenience I was experiencing simply did not matter. Instead of helping resolve the situation or showing concern, he came across as completely indifferent. I understand that unexpected delays can happen, but what I cannot accept is the complete lack of communication, the failure to notify patients about appointment changes, and the unwillingness to provide a written explanation when requested. Patients have jobs, families, and responsibilities. Our time is valuable, and scheduling an appointment should mean something. This experience reflects extremely poor customer service, unacceptable communication, and a serious lack of accountability from the management at this location. Aspen Dental's corporate management should investigate how this office handles appointments and patient complaints, particularly the way this situation was handled by Kaylen and Marvion. I am extremely disappointed and would not recommend this Aspen Dental location to anyone who expects professionalism, honesty, and respect for their time.
