I had a great first impression when I arrived -- Marina at the front desk was very kind and welcoming. Unfortunately, my experience with Dr. Ripa was the complete opposite. He never introduced himself, didn't even say good morning, and came across as extremely rude. When I explained that I was looking for a dental implant and wanted to understand the pricing, he immediately dismissed me by saying that if another dentist quoted me $1,400, I should "just go there" because "something must be missing" at that price. Instead of properly explaining the options, he was condescending and unprofessional. On their website, they advertise implants "starting at $899," but that price only covers the implant itself, not the crown. Obviously, nobody gets an implant without a crown, so the advertisement feels misleading. After driving all the way from Fort Lauderdale to Sunny Isles, I left very disappointed -- not only because the real cost was at least six times higher than what they promote online, but also because of the lack of respect and courtesy from Dr. Ripa. read more

The staff here was friendly. I was disappointed that I had to come in for an appointment just to be told that my teeth couldn't be cleaned because I needed a deep cleaning. I appreciate the suggestion. However that's what it should have been, a suggestion. As the client I should haven been able to make the decision. if I wanted to get my teeth cleaned initially or if I wanted to wait to get a deep cleaning. I honestly would have done both if my insurance covered it. The staff did take xrays and recommended ways to better care for my teeth. They let me know that my teeth are in good condition but they could see where I would need a deeper cleaning then the typical cleaning. They let me know that they would have to contact my insurance to get it preauthorized and that it could take weeks but they did not want to do the cleaning that I thought I was coming in for. Honestly I just felt like I took tome off from work to visit this dentist for no reason. I would have preferred if they had told me that they wouldn't do a regular cleaning if they determined that the patient needs a deep cleaning and I probably would have tried somewhere else. read more

I first learned dab out this office from a meme bet of my church. I needed a dentist and decided to try them out about a year and a half ago. I have been very grateful for this amazing recommendation. Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:00am-6:00pm Entrance: You will be sure to be greeted by the happiest staff on the south side. No matter who is at the front they genuinely care about your daily life and how you are doing. Dentist Staff: Can they be more compassionate? Perfection at its finest. Everyone on staff is very professional. Overall: Insurance is excepted. I currently have Delta Dental which has not strayed me wrong. This is a very nice clean up to date practice with knowledgeable staff and gentle dentist-my initial visit was outstanding then after some dental work that i still had questions about THATS WHEN it all went bad-if you have too many concerns or questions you will be nicely dismissed. These people are working the insurance game. Me, my wife, and Roomate all went in at different times. They have the same script for everyone. "Bunch of cavities, gum disease, and needing deep cleaning/more frequent dentist visits." Can't hate people making money.... but dang haha. Definitely go get a second opinion. They have created a raving fan with me! I was a dental assistant in my past and know a good dentist when I see one. I'm the type of person that doesn't like to get numb.. so when I am, I really want everything possible in that area that needs treatment to be completed. Well, he does just that! He understood my needs and met them. The staff was very pleasant and Dr. Huynh was great.. odd to say I had a good time while getting a root canal, but I did. He did the root canal start to finish as well as proceeded with the crown prep all in one visit. I can't understand Dr's that bring you in for 2-4 visits to complete what he did in one. I've been going to them for a little over 2 years now and I wouldn't think of going to any another dentist. Through all the procedures I've had done from a simple filling to a root canal, they always make me feel comfortable. I used to have severe dentist anxiety, but ever since I started coming here for my dental services, I actually don't mind coming to the dentist. I have not had great luck with dentists in the past. So when I went to Dr. Le the first time I was a little nervous. I was pleasantly surprised at the treatment I received with Dr. Le and the staff. The royal treatment begins as soon as you walk in the door. You are greeted immediately by a very pleasant office staff. The wait time is minimal after checking in. The dental hygienists are so friendly. They really take their time to make sure you understand any procedure they have to do. The dental hygienists are also very professional. You can tell they are at the top of their game and are well trained. Dr. Nguyen is the dentist I see most often and he is amazing!!! He is very professional and pretty funny too. I am so glad I have finally found a great dentist and I plan on continuing to go to the smile creators for long time! read more

Dr. Le and her staff have become like family, my family and I have been going to see her when they were working out of a small shack 10 years ago. Now they have moved into a beautiful office and the atmosphere is so pleasent. They genuinely care about there patients and you always leave with a beautiful smile. A week ago I went into this office because I was in a lot of pain due to a back tooth that needed to be taken out. They were nice enough to see me that same day. I saw Dr. Huynh. They did xrays of my teeth and told me I would need that tooth pulled and it would be best to go ahead and have the tooth above it pulled as well because that tooth needed a root canal and crown and in the long run it would save me a lot of money because it's a back tooth and isn't noticeable anyways. Since I was in a lot of pain I decided to go ahead and get those two teeth pulled Thursday. Ive been in pain ever since. Ive missed two and a half days of work. Dr. Huynh prescribed me pain medication, antibiotics, and Motrin 800. When I left on Thursday his staff gave me a piece of paper with directions but never went over the directions with me. Thankfully I know better to read everything a doctors office gives me thorough so I knew to rinse my mouth with warm salty water 3 times a day after the surgery and what to do to prevent swelling. As of today I am still in a lot of pain. My ear hurts as if I have an ear infection. My jaw hurts. I'm still only eating mashed potatoes. I'm miserable. Ive googled these side effects and infection has worried me. I called the dentist this morning and they asked me to come in. I go in and I tell them what's going on. Dr. Huynh asked how I was doing on pain medication and I told him I only had about 2 pills left and that I need more. He left and came back. He then started acting like I was a druggy just wanting pain medications. I'm in the medical field myself. I was not only embarrassed but offended. I know that plenty of patients only go to the doctor for pain medicine but when I had the type of weekend I had, and the doctor starts treating you that way, it's very very very unprofessional. I do not misuse narcotics or pain medication. I took them as he told me to. So unless you want to be treated like this as a patient, I wouldn't go here. Before this incident I thought he was great, honestly. But when you treat your patient like this, it's beyond disrespectful. read more

Wonderful! From day one, my experience has been wonderful. I am deathly afraid of the dentist and always have been because my gums are so sensitive. I expressed my concerns and fears of being allergic to pain to the entire staff and they were very understanding as well as kind. I tend to be really busy at times and they are able to accommodate my crazy schedule. The dentist himself is wonderful! He explains everything to a tee before and during and after, much appreciated. I moved almost an hour away from their office but let them know that I am definitely more than willing to travel to receive treatment from them. I would and have recommended people to go to them. Even though the staff of ladies are really nice, the dentist themselves are only interested in money not in dental care. If you are in pain, they will treat you along as you got Bill Gate's type of money. If not, it is best that you chose a different location. Finding a good dentist is hard, I had two really great dentist up north, they immediately took care of my pain, and a reasonable dental plan schedule to keep me out of pain. Dr. Chris Huynh recently performed a root canal for my number 8 front tooth. I was concerned about the procedure and how the tooth would match up after internal bleaching. The procedure was complicated, but Dr. Huynh did an excellent job! He was very gentle - absolutely no pain and was always courteous of my comfort and anxiousness. The subsequent bleaching was tricky, but matched perfectly with my other teeth! Great job all around. Highly recommend! read more

My first experience with Smile Creators was this past summer. My teenage son and I made appointments after the recommendation of a friend. I was very impressed with Dr. Huynh and the entire staff, especially Keisha! They were friendly, efficient, and very professional. After my first visit, I required a couple more visits for some extensive and long overdue dental work. Smile Creators told me that I needed a root canal costing $1600.00 after insurance. Went for a second opinion and found out it was a $30.00 filling for $30.00 I am so glad I didn't trust smile creators. The staff was friendly and the office was pretty but definitely not honest read more
