We contacted the owners, and they met us there in 10 minutes. They showed us the available storage units, and we rented two units right then and there. The Storage is brand new, climate-controlled, and as clean as a whistle. When it came time for the move, they gave us use of their moving trailer. They met us at 8 am at Creamery Brook. We loaded it up in two hours, and then they drove it down to the storage facility. All at no additional charge. These are fantastic people and provide wonderful storage units. We can not recommend them highly enough. We rate them 5 Stars for good reason.

I made it clear that I had a lot of large, heavy furniture and I also told them the sizes of the two storage units that I wanted emptied and brought to my new house. I specifically asked if it would all fit and if they would make multiple trips. I was quoted a price for six hours including tax. They did bring most of the large, heavy stuff but took NONE of the boxes. Now I am left to empty half of a 10x25 unit in MANY trips in my car. Not only that, but one of the movers spent a lot of time trying to get out a splinter (using tweezers that I offered) and using the bathroom and the other guy stood around waiting for him. This caused me to be charged for an extra hour. I'm grateful for what they did, but it wasn't as much as I was expecting. I'm older and on a limited budget so I went with the lower priced option because she said they would handle it, but they didn't and now my arthritic knees and back are paying for it.

We paid a significant premium over comparative moving companies for our large, in-town move because Woodland moving had been referred to us by a friend, and because at the initial assessment Mike seemed reliable and professional. First, the positive: the team loading the truck was fast and efficient and did not do any significant damage to the walls. Now for the issues: A $4000 cabinet was brought in with a completely sheared off leg and placed on that leg in an extremely precarious position. My mother happened to notice when it came off the truck, otherwise we would not have found out until the cabinet was nudged even slightly and toppled and broke further. When pointed out to the lead mover, he acted surprised and reprimanded the other staff even though he was the one that had brought the cabinet off the truck with a dangling leg. Our kids beds had several pieces missing during disassembly (which was done by the movers); the movers then spent several hours (mind you we are paying by the hour for this) trying to reassemble it, claimed that there was no issue even though it had clearly taken far longer than it should have, and then the bed collapsed on first use because it had been reassembled in a completely incorrect and precarious position to hide that pieces were missing. My kids had to sleep on floor mattresses for several weeks while we worked with woodland's claims department to get these beds replaced, and ultimately they failed to provide a reasonable solution other than giving us extra screws, and I ended up having to purchase wood and reconstruct the support legs for the bed myself to make it stable. When pointed out that a couch was missing its legs, were told it never had any legs... it did and was later found on the truck - screws for a TV stand were missing and had to be purchased and replaced another bed with a support leg misplaced and not constructed correctly There were further smaller issues that - all of this that just emphasized that the crew was not being methodical with disassembly (hence all the lost pieces), and were being frankly deceptive to hide that multiple items were missing or broken. Finally, we had purchased insurance for the move - thankfully - but because of the deductible still ended up eating a several hundred dollar loss because of all the broken items. We did finally get our bar cabinet repaired, but the furniture repair company reached out to me 1.5 months later to tell me that they still had not been paid by Woodland and had refused to return his calls or messages.
