The salesmen were typical salesmen and were trying to push me to get something I really didn't want. That was NOT the case at Mattress Direct or with the salesperson, Anne Marie. She is great! She explained that they do not earn a commission, so she wanted me to get what I wanted, not what was most expensive. If I ever need a mattress again, I'll go back and I'll refer anyone I know to get their mattresses at Mattress Direct, specifically from Anne Marie.

Below is my previous review....it's amazing (the mattress...not my review). After stopping in at all the big shops, I stopped in and test out their mattresses. I was amazed to find they build all their mattresses by hand and on sight (the owner gave me a tour of the entire facility). I tested out the mattresses and I was very impressed with the quality and feel. The prices were more than competitive, roughly $200-400 less than what I feel was equitable model of a "nation-wide" brand. I wanted to wait several months before reviewing the mattress. I have to admit I am incredibly pleased. Never have I slept better. The quality and look of the mattress is equal if not superior to mid-range/highend range memory foam mattresses. I wanted to repost this review because five years out, this is one of the best investments I've made in my life! I just recommended this business to some family members and I know they'll be just as satisfied as me! If you're in the St. Louis area, and you want a good night sleep, you owe it to yourself to stop by this store and experience this great product.Alr

We went to Macy's before to try them out but the sales staff was too pushy. After checking out a few at Preferred Mattress we picked out one we loved. It was placed in our bedroom later that day. Pricing was insanely good. Delivery guys were great. The whole experience was super easy. Highly recommend! If you need a bed go see Ed!!!! P.S. The split boxspring was the right price and I made the purchase. The one thing I really apprecited is that he didn't try to sell me anything else in the store. Most times stores like this try to recommend other items, but he did not. He only sold me what I asked for! Kudos for this. Once I paid for my purchase he even helped carry out the boxspring to the truck to help us load it up-great service and great personality! The merchandising team at IKEA are so creative, they make use of every bit of space in their examples. IKEA is a huge store, but you can't get lost. All you gotta do is follow the arrows painted on the floor. They're there from start to finish. They'll lead you through; furniture, accessories, housewares, plants and more. When the arrows lead us through the frames and artwork, we got a giggle that they had copies of the Mona Lisa and Starry Night. My favorite area is the housewares, I can always find something that I need in my kitchen. However, on this visit I found a coat tree for my front foyer in the accent furniture area. It's going to be nice to have something to hand my coat on instead of throwing it on the chair. If you need assistance there's always an associate working nearby.
