I saw the reviews for this business and thought I should check it out for myself because I really needed something embroidered and there aren't many places in Loudoun County. I went into the store at the Dulles Town Center and witnessed first hand the rude customer service.
This young girl was trying to explain what she wanted and the man, who I believe is the owner, kept repeating the same incoherent phrase over and over again and was getting so upset that the girl didn't understand what he was saying. I speak several languages and have experience working with people from different countries so I wanted to help this poor girl understand what this man was saying. I tried to help, but this man basically gestured for me to stay out of it and mind my own business. I really didn't listen to him and helped this girl finally communicate what she wanted done.
I went here to get fabric embroidered with my granddaughter's name on it to make a quilt. I explained what I wanted and he said he would be $20. When I asked if he could use gold thread, he raised the price to $35. I was okay with that, but I wanted it done the same day. He told the girl to come back at 5 PM to pick up her jacket, but he told me that he couldn't do it the same day. He said that he was too busy and couldn't have it done until the next day at 3PM! I was really puzzled because he was working on the girl's jacket at that time and finished the embroidery within the next 15 minutes while I was still trying to decide what type of lettering I wanted done and also tried to get a discount. He proceeded to tell me that "Indians, Asians, Pakistanis get discounts, but not Americans"!! I don't know if I misunderstood what he said because he has a very heavy accent and doesn't speak much English, but this was enough for me to finally leave this store. I will definitely look for another place to get my embroidery done. If I could give zero stars I would! read more
