So, I have 2 thoughts... first job was done poorly and if I wanted a seat that looked like I did it myself, I would have done it myself... secondly... if you can fix it for another $75 why couldn't you do it right the first time? My 2014 Mustang was getting a little worn so I decided to fix it up starting with the upholstery. I…read moreeventually decided on Katzkin brand leather installed by Sonny's Upholstery. I could not have made a better choice with either. Both Sonny and his wife Rhonda helped me pick an appropriate color. They did the front and rear seats. In addition, the Mustang has side airbags in the seat backs so just any old upholstery or seat cover won't do. The upholstery has to allow the air bags to expand where they are supposed to in a collision. The Katzkin product has special seams that allow that and Sonny's installer must perform an additional process with the airbags to assure everything works as it should. Sonny wanted two days to do it but I was called first thing the morning of the second day and told it was done. It looks and feels like a new car now. Leather upholstery is not for everyone as it is very expensive. If you decide on cloth instead, Sonny can do that as well. I can't imagine anyone else doing a better job or better quality than Sonny. If you need new upholstery, go see Sonny.

Fearing this would affect the trade-in value, I decided to do something about it. I did actually find pre-made covers online, but was concerned about the difficulty installing them. Also, they were expensive. Instead, I decided to get an estimate from an expert. So, I cruised Yelp and found Simon's Auto Upholstery in Tolleson. I sent an email and quickly got a response from the owner, Frank. After sending a couple of photos, I had my estimate. While not cheap, the cost was just slightly more than if I had purchased the seat covers myself. And I had a professional to install them. So, I scheduled with Frank and was in, in several weeks. So, I arrived at 8:30 AM and was told by Frank that my vehicle would be ready by the end of the day. He also told me that he should be able to closely match the original. Oh, I though he was going to buy factory covers and install them. Instead, he said he would make them himself. I agreed and decided that if the match with the other seat was not really close, that I would do the other seat as well. Frank called at 4:00 PM to tell me that my truck was ready. Great! Upon inspection of the new seat, I was thrilled. It was perfect! And no need to do the other seat because they matched so well. Frank honored the estimate price and just like that, it was done. Frank had been very professional, friendly and honest with me. I feel he's a very trustable guy. I am really happy that I found Simon's Auto Upholstery. And I love my new seat!

They delivered on time and the paint and interior turned out great, also we were able to do most of the wish list on my modest budget. My wife thought the staff at Tino's was super friendly and I know they listened to my input. They are tucked away off of Glendale Ave. and worth looking for!
