My most recent experiences have been terrible. The staff is unfriendly and it's almost impossible to have an intelligent conversation. No eye contact and no enthusiasm. I'm sure it's not cheap paying for that retail space and the owner should know they need to do better. The pretzel bins are always empty when you walk in. Well it only takes about five minutes to make a pretzel and I do appreciate a hot fresh product. However, the store closes at 8pm which is earlier than most of the other businesses. I've walked in the shop at 7:45, 7:35, 7:20 and my most recent visit was 7:13. Each of these visits resulted in turning me away without being able to purchase any pretzel products. I always purchase multiples so I can take them home to share with my family. When I go to this shop I'm looking for a fresh hot salty treat, not a sweet cookie. Each time I've been there the ovens are off and I'm told there will be no more pretzels that day. I understand it's a long day and everyone wants to go home. But the hours are listed and the staff should be trained to understand that happy paying customers are how the bills get paid. Customer service is the key.
