I have been blessed to know John for many years. He works wonders with his hands. He is truly gifted in the art of massage therapy.

Stiner massage is very reliable and beneficial. This therapist is excellent, far better than any chain, and mindfully attends to clients.

Her office is super convenient and located in a office center with plenty of parking. She is located on the second floor so be prepared to walk up a flight of stairs. She shares a space with another business but every time I've visited, I haven't seen others waiting, which is nice. But there is a large area for those who may need to wait. There is a bathroom in the space that is always clean and full of items such as sanitary napkins, lotion, tissues, etc. Everything you need is there lol. Her massage table includes a heated mattress pad which I love but Ofcourse you can opt to have it on or off. She also plays soft music in the background as well. I've already mentioned how her hands are gifted! She is really knowledgeable about the body and how to address tight spots. She is gentle and uses a variety of techniques to meet the needs of each client. I've always found that when I leave her table, I am much more relaxed and less tense. Additionally, Carla has such a warm spirit. She really cares about getting to know her clients and helping them in the best way she can. Lastly, during the massage, she wears a mask the entire time and clients are required to as well. Definitely check her out if you're in the triangle!

After dealing with intermittent back pain for a long while, I finally decided to seek treatment and so this was my first experience at any chiropractor. I was diagnosed with scoliosis and began treatments with Dr. Thoman. Of course during the initial treatments I began feeling in more pain than I had when I first walked in, but I thought this was normal at first and I would get used to the adjustments. Unfortunately, my pain continuously got worse over months and even though I made this clear, there was never a change in treatment methods. When I reported my pain levels, I noticed the doctor continuously recording lesser numbers of pain levels in my file than I was actually reporting. The doctor also seemed disappointed when I reported I was continuously pain, like he was taking it personally rather than noticing his method of treatment was not working for me. I would have appreciated if he tried something new but that never happened. Again, the office staff and massages are GREAT - I actually didn't want to stop going here for those reasons but my pain just kept getting worse. Ever since I switched to a new chiropractor who happened to have much better quality equipment and tried some different adjustment methods, my pain levels have already majorly decreased.

I booked a "Therapeutic Table Massage" with Shannon Trudeau and had a very traumatic experience…read more When I arrived I explained to her I like firm pressure and was having issues with my shoulders and neck and upper back being very tight and I would like to primarily focus on those areas. The first 30 minutes of my massage were her guiding some sort of yoga nidra exercise with no actual massaging. I had to ask her when the massage would actually start. She seemed to have a huge ego about the request and continued her guided exercise. Once she did start "massaging" me, it was just her placing her hands on my body very lightly and doing static holds on trigger points. I explained to her I would Like more muscle stimulation in the form of a faster deeper massage but she didn't listen to my requests and kept doing the things she was doing that I did not ask for. She didn't pay attention tho the specific areas that I came in to address and spent most of the time on my arms and legs. She talked the majority of the massage and kept instructing me to take deep breaths. I do not come in to this for a therapy session which is what it felt like. The table was cold and so was the room. I had to ask her to turn the heat on the table mid session because I was freezing and her hands were freezing. She did not seem to have any knowledge of anatomy, massage, or draping. After the session was over she sat me down and wanted to go over her "findings" and it felt really uncomfortable having someone tell me all the areas in my body she noticed I was tight but not actually using the time I paid for to resolve any of those issues. I did not book a trigger point massage, a reiki session, or a therapy session. I mentioned to her multiple times I was not wanting the type of "massage" she gave me and she said that "energetically we may not be a good fit" - in my option this is such a rude thing to say to someone who was very clear about the massage I wanted to receive and requested it multiple times only to be completely ignored - probably because this person is not educated enough or capable of doing actual massage. This practitioner is borderline harmful and should not be practicing any healing modality. I felt disgusting after leaving her session. I felt completely ignored and judged. I debated weather or not I should leave this review but after experiencing this I wanted other people to know the potential harms of booking with this practitioner. Please remove her from "therapeutic table massage" because she didn't actually massage me and this is really misleading for customers.

We each had an attendant massage our arms and legs and feet, while we sat in very comfortable recliners. The attendants also used hot stones, which felt very nice. For the detox part we were hooked up to a machine and our feet placed in buckets of water for 30 minutes. We both kind of dozed off because we were so relaxed. I think next time I'd skip the detox and do more of the reflexology, and maybe add a pedicure! I wasn't sure what to expect but this was a really nice experience. I think it was great value for money too.

When you are escorted back to your space for your foot massage you will be in for a treat. There will be a wonderful seated La-Z-Boy and a warm blanket ready for you. The massage room is dim and relaxing and it feels like you've left all your cares at the front door and you are in a whole new reality. I especially enjoyed the caring treatment that the massage therapist had for me and my experience on that day. The environment is clean, cozy, but a little cool. I did enjoy mentioning to my good friend how I was feeling a little chilly and I believe it might've been the owner who walked a heated blanket over to me and asked while I was getting my pedicure if I needed a blanket that was the icing on the cake and why I feel if you need a pick me up you should definitely step into this amazing space. I will always make sure I check into relax foot spa when I am in Raleigh. I would have liked the nail technician to have asked if the water was OK and I felt that the cold water shifted my experience following the massage a bit however, the blanket and the additional heated water added it to my pedicure experience made it better.
