My daughter's stylist was fantastic--super warm, engaging, and kept the conversation completely age-appropriate, which made my daughter feel comfortable right away. She also recommended a product that made sense for her hair type without feeling pushy. The best part? However I don't mind paying for innovative products and designs. After getting the assistance from the young gent. I walked to the front to check out. I waited a few minutes before I was welcomed by Jess. We spoke to one another then she asked, Would you like our FREE Mascara? I was like sure I Love anything that's FREE. Jess then hit me with the, All you have to do is apply for our Ulta Beauty Credit Card. My smile went from showing ALL my teeth (not sure if my three wisdom teeth) were noticeable but y'allget my drift? Lol...she definitely had me baited, reeled, and tackled (anyone knows about fishing) this is how I was Smdh. Until the running of the credit part was introduced I was leery now cause I'm working on revamping my credit after my divorce and I've been right out paying for things that I want or desire. The hair stylist that cut my hair (I didnt get her name but she was the heavier set woman with black hair, whose station is right behind the register) absolutely BUTCHERED my hair!!! I have been struggling for YEARS to grow my hair due to a disease. I told the stylist about this prior to her cutting my hair. I asked for an all around trim of about 1 to 1.5 inches. She took the scissors and cut a huge chunk of the back of my curls to "even it out" then spins me around and says I'm done. I ask her to at least cut the front/sides because all she did was cut the back. she then takes the scissors and just chops off the sides of my hair to "even it out" in like 4 quick snips. I have never been so upset in my life. There was no evening it out, no brush used, no comb. She didn't even measure the lengths of my hair to make sure they matched. Then as she made her last snips to my hair, she proceeds to tell me that SOMEONE ON TIKTOK SHE FOLLOWS cuts hair like this...... I was in so much shock that I didn't realize just how bad it was until I got home. When I did, i couldn't stop crying, my hair was just butchered. All of the length in the back just gone and the front of my hair is 3xs longer than the hair in the back. My dead ends are still there in the front along with the damaged split ends i wanted to have trimmed. I'm not one to complain and I wasn't going to say anything until I looked at the reviews and saw that she has done this to many people before and is being allowed to continue to do it!!! Someone like this should not have a license to cut hair!! DO NOT LET THIS LADY CUT YOUR HAIR FOR THE LOVE OF GOD! My sister gets her hair cut by Gerri and she always does an amazing job.
