However, fast forward 9 months to today -- the cab ceiling where the repairs were done is now leaking through the tail light. I brought it back in for review, assuming they would take responsibility since they were the last ones to work on that area. Instead, I was told the part was simply "worn" and that they had just removed and reinstalled it. That explanation doesn't make sense -- if the part was "worn" now, why wasn't it considered worn when it was reinstalled during the original repair months earlier? This is a minor issue -- just a small inexpensive part and a few screws -- but the principle matters. I expected the shop to stand behind its work, especially given I have little doubt the insurance company paid well for the repair. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. I rarely leave negative reviews, but in this case, I feel it's warranted. I won't be returning for future repairs and will definitely share this experience with others as well as my insurance company.

Even after taking the car from this shop to another, just to get an alignment and finding that there was a hidden issue, the team abs very understanding, apologetic, and took care of the problem right away. We then looked into future repairs that will need to be done, and I was quoted for that very quickly. I will most certainly be returning to this location as I've been looking for a shop that I can trust with my car for as long as I have it. Service department response... nothing wrong with-it ma'am... you need to let your engine warm up before driving it, like she's an idiot or something. All the BMW service department saw was an attractive blonde woman and didn't even give her the respect to really diagnose any issues. Anyway, that's a review for BMW in Bentonville, AR, not Alternative Beemer. They are the best in the NWA area. Shane found our issue when all we did was bring it in for an oil change. Although it hurt to drop an unexpected almost 4k to repair the issues (oil change, bleed breaks, water pump replacement, thermostat replacement, valve cover replacement) it was nice that they found it and recommended what needed to be repaired without pressure in doing so. We also have an oil pan gasket leak but will need to save the 2k to repair that. They have a pretty nice system with pictures, and you can do everything online, even message the service manager Jim, who is very friendly and patient in explaining issues. I will never take my car to the dealer service center again... Alternative Beemer is the way to go in the entire NWA area! Seriously, if you live in Rogers and surrounding areas, take your BMW here and you will be glad you did.

My Toyota FJ Cruiser check engine light fired up showing codes P0420 and P0430, which have about a…read moredozen potential causes. I knew repair at the dealership would be too expensive, but independent shops were estimating all new catalytic converters and all four oxygen and fuel/air sensors. Estimated repair cost was half the value of the car. Yikes... Brought the FJ to Jessie, and they did a thorough inspection and analysis, even pulled a spark plug to check it over. Jessie gave me a detailed explanation of the results from the scan, including the readings from the sensors. His estimate was replacing the exhaust manifolds and upstream catalytic converters. Total cost was far less than the other estimates and they did the analysis at no charge. We set up an appointment and the repairs were made correctly. No check engine light and fuel mileage up from 13-15mpg to 20.3mpg on the first fill up. Needless to say, I am a very happy customer.

Somewhat expensive, but in the neighborhood I was expecting. Same vehicle had other problems a year or so ago, and a thorough repair was performed. Advised of some potential down-the-line problems. Hope to never need them again, but I will absolutely use them again if necessary.

Friend and I were driving to breakfast when all of a sudden my dashboard lit up and my car stopped working! We coasted into the nearby restaurant where we were headed thankfully. We got out and did the obvious - look under the hood for fluid leaks, smoke, etc... but nothing for the plain eye to see. I went to Yelp to see if there were any services near that could help and that is when I found this shop. I called A&L, told them what happened and they kept it real with me basically saying they didn't know what it could be either, but they could fit me in that morning to take a look. I decided to have the car towed versus trying to drive it and possibly damage it further. I asked if they knew any tow companies and they gave me info for a local company they do business with (that was also excellent btw!). Once my car arrived at A&L they let me know they were close to finishing up another vehicle and would look into mine after they were done. They have a very small waiting area which is set up nicely with a couch, tv with all entertainment you could want and a vending machine. It really is only big enough for a couple people. When it was my turn, they looked at the car while I chilled in the waiting area de-stressing watching tv. They came back, explained the problem, quoted me a price and let me know they could fix it that same morning while I waited! WOW! They did have to send someone for the part. The pricing also seemed very reasonable. I accepted. (Note I later discussed what happened with my existing local trusted mechanic and he confirmed their pricing was AMAZING as was the fact they were able to help so quickly. As a non-mechanical person there is a lot of trust that goes here). They had my problem diagnosed, resolved and paid for all in a few hours. I was very impressed! My friend even stated this was a blessing as many shops have waiting lists right now for basic items. Summary - USE this shop! Take your car here! They are trustworthy, efficient, affordable and no bs. They do what they say they can do and they are upfront about now being able to diagnose without seeing the vehicle.
