Summary - I contracted with Lake Worth Custom Cabinetry (LWCC) to do kitchen and bathroom cabinetry…read morefor a renovation of a small cottage in Lake Worth Beach. Everything started out wonderfully, but then the relationship went steeply downhill. LWCC signed a detailed contract, but later demanded additional payment for items included in that contract. They demanded early payment, and then walked off the job without completion. Additionally, there were issues with the quality of their work. The contract I signed with LWCC in February 2021 specified four payments: 50% before work began, 25% when cabinet boxes were completed, and the remaining 25% when all work was completed. In July 2021, they walked off the job without completing the work and demanded the bulk of the final payment before finishing. As I needed the work done in order to receive a certificate of occupancy, I complied. In February of 2022, I reached out requesting they complete the work. They declined and said they had lost a significant amount of money on the job. As they determined the contract price, required I pay more for items already included in the contract, and did not complete the work, I do not see how this could be true. Work never completed, though specified in eight pages of drawings which were included in the contract: 1. A pull out under the kitchen sink for the trash cans - This work was never done. LWCC said trash cans would not fit due to plumbing. But I may have the plumbing changed. So that is irrelevant to the fact that the work was not completed, despite repeated requests. 2. Installation of a "Magic Corner" cabinet accessory - The Magic Corner was included in the contract, but LWCC said I would have to pay for it. I did. However, they did not install it correctly and did not put a door on that cabinet. I am therefore left with a nonfunctional accessory and a gaping hole in my cabinetry. 3. A 33-inch kitchen sink - even though the drawings specified a 33-inch sink, I had to pay a change fee to have it installed. Quality issues include, I have pictures for anyone who is interested: 1. One cabinet had eight highly visible screws within 2 square inches. 2. One cabinet had four highly visible screws holes within 1 square inches. 3. Scuff marks and scratches on one cabinet door. 4. Shelving in pantry was not professionally installed. LWCC built an insert that sits in the cabinet. While it works, it is an obvious after the fact addition.

I would highly recommend Sure Flow Irrigation Services for any repairs or maintenance you may need.

Their communication and responsiveness to all our our questions and concerns was absolutely outstanding right from the beginning. The project was a major one and needed to be completed and what seemed like an impossible timeline. My wife and I trusted Paradigm One with our home as we left town while they were completing the project. When we came home, we were absolutely FLOORED with how amazing everything turned out!! Sure were there little things that weren't perfect when we arrived home(most of them they pointed out to us before we could even see them), but they stayed on it and made sure they finished and made everything perfect!! We are so happy that we choose Jeff and Gretchen, they are not just a phenomenal contractor but also just truly amazing people!

Don't make the same mistake we did and waste weeks and thousands of dollars with the wrong company. Jeff, Gretchen, and Team are experienced, professional, and will do whatever it takes to get the job done. In just 8 weeks, they completely gutted the inside of our home and then magically turned my dreams into a reality. Gretchen, the designer and project manager, made sure all my requests were fulfilled and then some. She had the perfect balance of supporting my ideas but also interjecting when things needed tweaking. Jeff, the general contractor, ensured all jobs were completed with quality material and skilled workmanship. I was so impressed with how everything flowed from Demo Day 1, to ordering materials, to coordinating painters/plumbers/electricians/carpenters/etc. to the final days of completion. They gave me no issue when I changed my mind on things (had them re-do living room paint bc I didn't like my 1st choice, had them exchange bathroom mirrors bc I didn't like my 1st choice, changed my mind how I wanted the kitchen island and they ended up just giving me the shiplap for it etc.). Lastly, I have to say they were excellent communicators; an attribute it seems like so many businesses lack these days. It was a genuine pleasure to work with them. They are good people, with excellent work ethic. We will 100% be hiring them again in the future when we do an addition in a few years.
