It's not based on his profit margins, but on a goal to do right by his customers. My father was a fair shake mechanic, and made sure his customers were getting the most for their hard earned money, and were not getting taken advantage of, by some unscrupulous dealerships, that overcharged for parts and maintenance that were not even necessary. I see these same traits in Craig. It gives me a great sense of security to have that same trust in my mechanic, that I had with my own father. I HIGHLY recommend Crabtree Automatics! Joe Monaco

The technician demanded cash ($300) to get the needed springs. We should have ended the deal right then. He returned the next day and installed the springs and collected another$300 via credit card. The door was working but making a terrible noise. he said he could fix that for more money. We declined. Today the side of the door that did not have a problem is totally torn apart and the door doesn't work at all. We suspect the wrong springs were used and have called another company to fix the mess.

However, my wife talked with the service technician (who arrived exactly when I was told he would) and she saw the damage he pointed out --- this was no simple solution and certainly nothing I could have repaired myself. Repairs were conducted in a timely manner and the garage door works better than it has since I've been in this house! I used to work in Property Management and I was dreading several thousand dollars to replace the door entirely, but the repair was much more economical and (knock on wood) should last us a while longer, yet. We unfortunately found out today that the springs don't match and we were forced to replace them using another company. As a business owner myself, I am disappointed in the shoddy craftsmanship and lack of integrity the worker provided.
