It was a hard time in my life when I first went there and I've grown and become, hopefully, a much better person just from experiencing the wonderful friends I've met. I could tell so many stories, but my point is simply this: This is THE BEST bar I have ever been to in my entire life and I cannot say enough good things about it and the people who run it, the regulars, bartenders, etc. Just genuinely awesome people. Even just the other day, a couple came in and they hadn't been there before, and we were just talking and they said "This is such a nice place." It's like Cheers. I walk in the door and end up hugging like everyone before I even get my name on the pool table (they also have a really nice pool table. I've been playing for years now as a result.) The owners Big J and Dave are awesome... I'm kind of overflowing with compliments here but it's just... it's the best place. If I had to choose what I was going to do with my night, my day, whatever, just getting out, it would be The Garage. Absolutely awesome. (I'm honestly just disappointed with myself that I didn't give them a Yelp review sooner. I cannot recommend this place enough. 5 stars just doesn't cut it).

To be clear, my review was not alleging that I was charged for something I didn't order or that the prices were undisclosed. My review was simply sharing my personal experience that I found the pricing unusually high for the amount of time we spent there and that it affected my decision to return. I understand that businesses have operating costs and are entitled to set their prices, just as customers are entitled to decide whether those prices fit their budget. Plan to get here maybe 5 min earlier than planned because it'll take some time to find parking. After parking, the experience goes uphill. There are lots of tables available with plenty of space in between. I mean, you'll need common etiquette, but besides that, there are lots of tables for you to choose from. The employees are very nice about setting you up and lighting up the table that you want. They are very accommodating and flexible. There are leagues here as well if you think about making a commitment. Cost seemed appropriate for the quality of the equipment. It was about $20 an hour for a party of 2. So if you split it with a friend, that's about $20 for 2 hours of playtime. The table I used and the spare sticks available seemed to be in good condition. They also serve beer and have sports games along the edges of the shop. There are also stools and small tables available. If you feel like taking a break or not even playing pool at all, it seems like a good place to hang, catch up or watch some sports.

Stiix billiards is a fantastic place for those who love pool. I think the owners put a priority on the important parts to a pool room - the tables. They have Brunswick Gold Crowns with good quality felt that is replaced frequently. These aren't your run-down pool tables to be found at most bars. The decor is nice, lots of quirky art and movie posters and the like. The bar offers a variety of food, snacks and beverages, including a very large selection of beers. They have music of course, and a few video games on the side plus a TV that usually plays whatever sports are on. The place seems like it would be a fun place to take a date, or just hang out with friends and have a drink while shooting some pool. If you are a serious pool player, then you will be able to find plenty of competition and tournaments. Overall, a nice clean, fun and safe place to hang out! read more

Typical dive bar vibes: cozy, pool table, smoking patio. I was glad to see that the new owners are cool and make the experience fun. We had an amazing time and felt totally welcomed from the start.
