We really enjoy coming here as a family. I don't see other families go, but everyone keeps to themselves and we have fun at our own table. The price is great for the time we spend there. About $15 an hr. The workers are really kind to let us have our kids when that doesn't seem to be the norm. It might seem odd, but I love their hot dogs. They're grilled on an actual electric grill, and I have to have my beef jerky, too. Though I enjoy the yummies, it's not a place you go for food. Pretty chill spot, lot of tables and decent snacks and drinks. The only shitty thing is that they hate minority music. The juke box doesn't have much options but if you PAY and PLAY too much Rap, Hip-Hop, or Spanish music. They will change it ASAP. It's really shitty when you're spending $5-$15 on music on top of your table fee and drinks. Service is mid. I can say this pool hall is much more kept up than the one in downtown Oxnard. Well lit, clean tables, and overall a chill environment. This is now the spot I plan to come to every time I'm in the area The only tip i would say is weary on spending for music because some people claim the playlist for the entire night. I had a horrible experience. The workers there are very rude, and they lie to you saying that it is 16$ an hour off their own clock that is set 20 minutes ahead. They don't tell you that they are going off their clock that is super small in the corner. It makes me not want to go back because they robbed me of my money by not going off the time that everyone else goes off of and not notifying me ahead of time. I felt scammed. I don't recommend this place at all!!!! But if you do end up coming to this place FAIR WARNING they will scam you if you don't go off the clock that they have that's set 20 min ahead of actually that's on your phone. read more

The wife and I went to go play pool and drink some beer on Saturday, 6/23/2024. We got there around midnight, keep in mind the place is supposed to be open till 2am. Two guys walked in the place before we even got out of our car. As we walked in, the two guys that had walked in before us were walking out. We walk in, and the guy behind the counter tells us. He'll give us fifteen minutes to play, but it's been slow, and he's closing. My wife and I were a little dumbfounded by because more than half the pool tables were full. So, like the two guys before us, we turned around. We sat in our car for a minute, trying to figure out how it was slow, and he's closing with half the place filled up, and in sitting in our car, we noticed at at least four other groups of people come and try to play pool. So my best guess is this guy had a hot date or something and wanted to go home. Kind of lame when you're supposed to be open till 2am. I've been there during the week till 2am when there's been less people in there. read more

Stiix Billiards is one of those no bells and whistles type pool halls. It's simple and fun in its décor and chill in its atmosphere. The most important thing about this place in my opinion, are that the pool tables are in great condition. The felt isn't ripped, and the pockets aren't falling apart. The house cues are actually pretty decent for what they are, but they do offer to rent better, two-piece cues for a price. They serve snack bar type food and drinks, with beer being the alcoholic option, at reasonable prices. The people that work here are pretty friendly too, adding to the awesomeness of this place. The whole place is kept in great condition, with a staff and vibe to match, it really is a cool place to play pool and hang out. Best pool hall in Ventura. 10+ Brunswick 9 foot tables that rack and play well. But the 3 Diamond 9 footers are where its at when you can snag them. Clean balls and they have the aramith measle cue balls which I love! Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Patrons are all real pool players and there's always action games to be found here. Leagues are Mon Wed and Sat, all APA. This is my regular practice spot, and at $10/hour for a table you cant beat it! Love bringing the Dad and Uncle here when they are in town. read more

This review is overdue, as I have played pool here quite a few times in the last year. This is one of those pool halls where it's about the game first. The tables and equipment are in good condition, which I appreciate. They have league play and tournaments here for all skill levels. I am a recreational player and take other amenities into consideration when choosing a pool hall. They have a decent beer selection, with a few selections on tap and in bottles. They offer food, but they should reconsider their offerings. If you have ever cooked hot dogs on a George Foreman Grill in a small apartment, you will know what I'm talking about. I thought that smell was in my past, until I started visiting Stiix. The restroom is cleaner than other similar establishments. Even though we're in Ventura, it can get stuffy in there, especially with fried hot dog smoke wafting through the room. But despite a couple gripes, this is a great place to shoot some pool. read more

Great for family and friends to enjoy some awesome tunes. I came in and the environment was very spacious with lighting to be just right. Great for endorsing other clubs with vintage shirts and selling their very own merchandise by the counter. Love the idea that they have snacks and pop including select beers and hotdogs.
