We talked over the tap list and settled on a flight of four: Pencil Thin Mustache midwest IPA, Coral Reefer hemp PA, Saint Somewhere Oatmeal stout & Nike Fest marzen. All were delicious, even the IPA & PA, which arent my preferred styles. I later tried the Great Heart irish red that Brian said was more red than Irish but my palate liked it. On the way to the bathroom i passed by a shuffleboard table, foosball & heeey there's a small bar in front of the brew house! It wasnt nutty busy for a party, but i got there @ open so, the calm. Gravity Storm isnt just a brewery, it is definitely an experience. I liked that despite sitting @ the bar...w an empty glass, i didnt feel pressured to order another beer right away, id driven 100 miles i wasnt looking to slam beers & move on. Was funny...cute...i told Brian i was going to the bathroom & i would bd back. Came back to see he had put a coaster over my partially drank beer. Brian had slipped away from behind the bar and his wife was slanging, also a friendly gal, apologies i never got her name. Thanks Gravity Storm & Brian for making my 388th brewery a fun & memorable one!! Cheers to eight more years!

Let's start with the salad: simple, GREEN (not iceberg lettuce!), a few red onion slices, a few olives, a few grape tomatoes, and a light amount of the house dressing. The tomato soup is as good as people say. I am very picky about tomato soup. Theirs was delish. Flavorful. The bowl was big; two of us shared it. Chicken piccata for dinner. The chicken was perfectly cooked! The sauce was flavorful. The pasta was also perfectly cooked. Large portion. Left overs. Our waitress was fantastic - helpful, fun, funny. We got the Dancing with Chupacabra mead which was no brainer for me. First of all yes, that label art drew me in as I love cryptozoology but I also liked the fact that this was a Hibiscus flavored mead which was a flavor I don't recall in coming across from the handful of meadery experiences that I have had. It didn't let me down in the namesake department either as the Hibiscus flavor was in full effect. It was conveniently located a couple minutes away from where I was staying. Lots of drinks and some food to choose from. I am always up for trying different coffee places when I am on travel. Here they have "white coffee" which she said was a lighter version. I went with a large white coffee with oat milk and sugar free shots of syrup. Tried the chocolate + Vanilla the first trip, turned out to be really tasty. Not too strong of a coffee flavor which was okay with me, but it tasted like marshmellow. I was pretty pleased. The next morning I said to sub in 1 pump of sugar free rasberry, and it was really good too. Kinda like a rasberry crumble. I got that the next day too. The only issue I have here was the prices were different on all 3 visits even though I got the same sized drink (large) and same drink (white coffee mocha with oat milk). I just varied the types of syrups. First day it was around $6.80ish. 2nd visit it was about $7.50ish. But the last day it was $9.25..?!? I was like - what's going on? She said I may have charged you for a medium on previous days - - but there were still $1 differences btwn Day 1 and Day 2. And $9.29 for a large coffee mocha is too high. I live in Austin, TX - where food here is notoriously more expensive that it should be, and I have never paid $9+ for a large mocha drink. I think that's like NYC or Los Angeles pricing. I wasn't too happy about that so I opted not to go back on my last few days. I did not want to pay $9+ for a large coffee drink. But overall the experience was worthy of 4-stars here (well, 3.5 and I'll round up to 4). The service here was very nice on all my visits, very friendly too. The coffee tasted good and they were flexible to switch out the syrups, plus they had 4 sugar free options there. But we gotta get the pricing thing down, it shouldn't be different on all 3 visits and a large shouldn't be $9.29ish.
