I was at Walmart prairie du chien wi today when I walked in I heard an employee ask a lady if she could see her receipt she responded saying I quess so if you think you need to. I thought it to be odd and went about my shopping . I checked out with a full service checker and when I was leaving I was stoped and they wanted my receipt and went through my cart . Random shake down at walmart now . I didn,t even get out the door . Is that even legal? Any way told them I"ll never shop there again and if all walmarts start doing w this I will no longer give them my money It takes long enough to get checked out and get shook down ......wont put up with it read more

Honestly, very pathetic and wimpish that Walmart is no longer open 24/7. As a woman from a rural farming community, who understands that farmers work obscure hours, we have lost our only reliably "always open" drugstore -that provides daily life ESSENTIALs- which also happens to be the only one within at least a 50 mile radius. Let's not forget about all the common people who just enjoy going to Walmart at 4am. Just a disgrace. read more

I have ordered tires, chain saw, etc., from Walmart.com and picked up at the Decorah store. I am very satisfied with my experience and the customer service was excellent. The best part is the delivery is free. As for the tires, their mounting and balance is very reasonable. My chain saw is being delayed due to severe bad weather but they keep sending me emails/text's keeping me up to date on actual arrival time. read more

When I am in town visiting family, it seems like we almost always have to make a trip here for something. Of all the locations I've frequented more than once, this one does rank higher up there. I'm usually pretty satisfied with the level of service received at this location, one does not go to Walmart based on good service and recommendations and entirely out of necessity. That being said, this store is always remarkably clean and it's very evident that the workers take pride in keeping the store stocked and clean. I'm sure I will be back again, probably the next time I'm in town and that's not really a bad thing. Clean-yes, friendly-yes, only place in town to get certain things-definitely. read more
