My friends and I were visiting the city and was looking for a good brunch spot and we came upon…read morethis as we were walking by. When we first walked in, the entryway felt a bit cramped. There wasn't much room for our group of 5 and with the table on the left and a refrigerator near the door, we were pretty much squeezed in while waiting and trying to make room as others were trying to get by us. We had to wait outside and come back. The wait was about 30 minutes, which we didn't mind. Once we got seated, our server was friendly and the food was definitely worth the wait. The portions were pretty big too. The only downside was that my friend's burger was undercooked. She ordered it medium well, but it looked closer to medium rare, so she ended up not eating about half of it. I ordered the focaccia chicken sandwich, and it was delicious. The chicken was perfectly crispy and juicy. I also had the hibiscus oolong peach tea, which I really enjoyed because it wasn't overly sweet.

The croissant is perfectly toasty and tender and the bacon is doing its thing too- very generous, the right thickness, flavor and crisp! Teach me. Oh, teach me! The other thousand times I've ordered, the juice was perfect. That's how you know it's 100% orange juice and not from a bottle or can. The cakes and pastries look amazing but I'm a creature of habit so can't speak to them. However, the people I have sent have only great things to say! The Churro Bites are fried balls of deliciousness and honestly, not sure if I would describe them as "churro" since they are plain on their own but they do have the ridges like churros. I actually preferred them plain since the toppings you choose are what makes it. We got half Dubai and half Lotus & Chocolate which was an up-charge of ~$2 (not sure why). The Medium size is also perfect for sharing among 2-4 people depending on how hungry you are. I will say these are so addictive so you might even want a whole order for yourself. Both Dubai and Lotus & Chocolate were scrumptious but I found myself going back to the Lotus & Chocolate more! The churro bites have a perfect crunch and feel light & airy, the toppings were sweet & satisfying, and overall very delicious. I'm a big fan and would absolutely come back!
