The waiting area is small, and staff ask questions loudly enough for everyone to hear. At one point, they called out asking who was there for a drug test. Only one person spoke up, but then the receptionist proceeded to call two other names for drug tests anyway. That made me wonder... if you already knew who they were, why announce it to the whole waiting room? Why not simply call each person up individually? The same goes for asking people what kind of test they're there for. Most people probably don't mind saying "blood work," but what if someone is there for something much more personal? Medical visits should feel private, not like group trivia. Now for the positive: once I finally got called back, everything was smooth sailing. The phlebotomist was friendly, quick, and had my blood drawn before I could even finish thinking, "Please don't miss the vein." She did an excellent job. My final verdict: * Staff doing the blood draw: Excellent. * Fast service once you're in the back. * Walk-ins: Bring snacks... and maybe a novel.... When I arrived, the doors had already been closed about 15 minutes before the posted closing time. When I asked about it, employees stated that they "don't get paid after 4:30," so they have to be walking out the door at 4:30. If that is the case, then the posted business hours need to reflect the actual time customers are no longer being served. Customers should not be expected to drive to a location during posted operating hours only to find the doors already closed. What made the experience even worse was hearing two employees at the door joking and talking about a "knuckle snackwich" while I was still standing outside. It came across as extremely unprofessional, especially given the situation. Between the lack of communication, closing early, and the employees' behavior, I would not recommend this location. Management seriously needs to address the customer service and professionalism here.
