My experience on yesterday with Dr. Gandy was a amazing and the entire staff customer service is phenomenal! When I first arrived at the facility, I did have issues with finding the building once I parked in the garage. I must say it's very frustrating when you get there, because they have different elevators for different floors. BUT........... Once I got to the 11th floor it was a breeze, and the front desk clerk Ashley instructed me how to get there easily the next time. The nurse was a sweetheart, patient, and listened to all of my concerns. When Dr. Gandy came in, I felt a weight off of my shoulders. I literally asked to get tested for every single thing from cancer, diabetes, thyroid disease, and anything else that I could be tested on. I feel as you get older you should have yearly test on every single thing that could be a hazardous to your health. Dr. Gandy had great bedside manner, listened to my every concern, and was the SWEETEST!!!!! Since I'm a new patient I had to wait almost 8 months to see her, but it was so worth it. I most definitely see why everyone online rave about her, because it most definitely is true. She is one of the best family physicians that, I've seen since I've been living in Atlanta. Sometimes the carer would show up on time, other times they would either be very late or not show up at all. Given that one of the key reasons we hired them was to get mother-in-law out of bed and help her take her medications, this was an important failure. She would be stuck in bed unable to help herself and getting into a panic. 2. Communications with Regency was very poor. They would change carers without telling us or mother-in-law and would often fail to return our calls. Ultimately, dependability is a key characteristic for in-home care and, regrettably, Regency did not ensure this.
