Avi was very helpful in finding my mother a caregiver based on the parameters I gave him. He was courteous and very helpful. The caregiver was lovely. One thing I learned in this process actually from Avi was that I should look for what my mother needs not just a warm body. He even said if this is not the right person , he will find her someone that is her person. I was able to reach Avi by cell phone any time I needed him. Lenox Home Care responded to an emergency call I placed when my Aunt was surprisingly released a early from the hospital. She was weak, confused, and could not stand on her own. Her caregiver, Awa, was kind, patient, sweet, and loving as she took care of my Aunt. She prepared breakfast and lunch for her each day, her friends, my Mom and Dad, and husband and I took turns supplying dinner. Otherwise, Awa would have prepared it. Awa took excellent care of my Aunt, helping her walk, shower, and staying with her at all times. Avi, the owner, is responsive and kind. Altogether, a superb company. read more

During this time of Covid-19, we did not want him being isolated in a rehab facility, and we made the decision to do home health care along with home physical therapy. My parents are 87 and 93 years old and live independently in a condo in a senior community. They need help with more and more daily necessities and each one requires a little different level of care. Mr. Avi Warga, owner and operator of Lenox Home Care, took over my mother-in-laws 24/7 care for us about 8 months prior to her death. She was living with us in our home. This meant we were available to answer questions and supervise her care. It also meant caregivers had the extra component of being respectful of our privacy. We chose to transition from another vendor provider because were not happy with several of the caregivers, how they were managing their caregivers and their keeping us updated on caregiver assignments. Mr. Warga gave us unprecedented personal attention in getting to know our dear one's situation personally, giving us the opportunity to interview and choose the caregivers, assisting with training them regarding how our household operates and making himself personally available to handle the inevitable hiccups that correlate with numerous caregivers coming in and out. While my mother in law spoke and understood English, as she deteriorated, she began falling back into her native tongue. Between the language barriers, dementia and hearing loss, getting good, understanding and loving care might have been impossible without the able and well trained caregivers Lenox Home Care provided. When Lenox Home Care took over our business, we were two weeks away from a three week trip out of the country, with no family member available to check in on my mother-in-law in our absence. We were extremely pleased and comforted knowing she and her care were in Mr. Warga's dependable hands in our absence, and in fact, came home to find her having been well cared for and happy. Over the course of time, when a caregiver's schedule required she be replaced, or when we decided to switch for a replacement caregiver, Mr. Warga painstakingly and carefully presented candidates that suited our situation. While my mother-in-law was being serviced by Lenox Home she was always immaculately clean, well fed, and taken out of her room for visits to other parts of the house or outside several times a day. This was especially impressive when she was no longer mobile. When she could no longer be taken out of bed, she was turned every two hours and her body was cushioned as need to avoid bed sores, which she never got though immobile for several months. On more than one occasion, when we were briefly out of town to tend to our children's needs in other cities, the Lenox Home Care caregivers literally saved my mother-in law's life by alerting us and hospice that my mother-in law was febrile or that we had lost electricity and the in house temperature was dropping (during a winter storm). We were especially appreciative when one of Lenox Home Care's CNAs disagreed with the Hospice Nurse's evaluation and the CNA contacted us, insisting Momma needed a second evaluation that same day. Without the CNAs intervention regarding the Hospice Nurse's inaction, my mother in law would have passed away several months prematurely by the time we got back home. We would highly recommend Lenox Home Care and feel confident in its ability to meet the needs of both the patient and their guardians. read more

I was extremely pleased with the service provided by Lenox Home Care. I needed in-home health care when my 92 year-old mother fell and fractured her pelvis in 2021. After her operation in the hospital, she had to spend three weeks in a rehab facility. I could not wait to get her back in her own home and away from the rehab facility. Unfortunately, once she was back home, I realized that she would need 24/7 care because her dementia was excelerating. I researched online and some of the best reviews mentioned Avi Warga's compassionate management of Lenox Home Care. I contracted with Avi immediately to provide in-home care. Avi provided 24/7 care for 45 days in 2021; and then provided 16-hour care per day for 6 months in 2022. Most of this care for my Mother was provided by one caregiver that was a perfect match for my Mother. Sadly my Mother's dementia required that I move her out of her home and into an assisted living facility. Lenox provided excellent service until the day that I moved her. We tried a number of other services for my 89-year-old mother and they were large corporations with managers that were doing a job and had no attachment to their clients and staff.
