We had a productive conversation where we both learned from each other. I came away with a real sense that he was sincerely interested in addressing the areas of concern I had originally shared. He listened, was polite at every turn, and on one item I pointed out, he followed up within an hour with a sample showing he was already on his way to fixing the issue. I had to edit this review and rating based on the authenticity of his outreach to hear me out fully. + Signage in the branch was on brand, professional, and positively represented a facility of that type. + Convenient, close parking right by the front door. + Flexibility of panels to request with some popular combinations packaged for savings. + Easier to get an appointment the same day than my own doctor's office. What I hope they will be able to change: - They require payment upfront in person before any specimen is collected. It is uncommon in the health/medical field to collect payment in full before the service is performed. In this case, I fully expected the specimens to be collected before being asked to pay. That wasn't the experience. I hope they can reconsider this requirement as it set my visit onto a wrong course in terms of my expectations. Perhaps they could at least consider allowing past patients the option of paying following the specimen collection. I mean, if it's a trust issue, that might make a nice difference. Or, consider how some gas stations and hotels will run a card to place a temporary hold on an amount until the final invoice is settled. - Get their corporate IT group to tweak/tighten their web site for making appointments. I gave the CEO some specifics and understand these are changes that can only be made from the head office, not by a franchisee. - Employee training/coaching with additional tools that can give them confidence to initiate effective problem-solving with customers on site. In my case, what I thought was a fairly basic question upended the experience. With proper instruction, I do think that team members capable of doing so many technically complicated procedures should be able to handle a range of customer interactions with success.

I came by today to have my blood drawn for my allergist and it went very smoothly. I have been to other Labcorps in the past that were a nightmare. This location was not one. This Labcorp is near me and when I saw it was in a Walgreens I went for it - some are inside large buildings and have difficult parking and I wanted to avoid that. I'm glad I did. I was in and out super easy. The person who took my blood seemed to be the woman in charge of this spot and she was great. Friendly, fast, and great at drawing blood. Good quality care. I have had veins blown a handful of times (maybe mine are sensitive lol) but this time I was only left with the smallest red dot. I only had to wait maybe 5 minutes after checking in before I was called back. I was a walk-in, didn't make an appointment. Overall: the parking was easy, location was convenient, wait was short, and the workers were skilled and friendly. If I need any blood work again I'm specifically coming here!
