[EDITED] What I liked: + Georgia franchise CEO responded via email the very day after my first public review and he called me to get more information. We had a productive conversation where we both learned from each other. I came away with a real sense that he was sincerely interested in addressing the areas of concern I had originally shared. He listened, was polite at every turn, and on one item I pointed out, he followed up within an hour with a sample showing he was already on his way to fixing the issue. I had to edit this review and rating based on the authenticity of his outreach to hear me out fully. + Signage in the branch was on brand, professional, and positively represented a facility of that type. + Convenient, close parking right by the front door. + Flexibility of panels to request with some popular combinations packaged for savings. + Easier to get an appointment the same day than my own doctor's office. What I hope they will be able to change: - They require payment upfront in person before any specimen is collected. It is uncommon in the health/medical field to collect payment in full before the service is performed. In this case, I fully expected the specimens to be collected before being asked to pay. That wasn't the experience. I hope they can reconsider this requirement as it set my visit onto a wrong course in terms of my expectations. Perhaps they could at least consider allowing past patients the option of paying following the specimen collection. I mean, if it's a trust issue, that might make a nice difference. Or, consider how some gas stations and hotels will run a card to place a temporary hold on an amount until the final invoice is settled. - Get their corporate IT group to tweak/tighten their web site for making appointments. I gave the CEO some specifics and understand these are changes that can only be made from the head office, not by a franchisee. - Employee training/coaching with additional tools that can give them confidence to initiate effective problem-solving with customers on site. In my case, what I thought was a fairly basic question upended the experience. With proper instruction, I do think that team members capable of doing so many technically complicated procedures should be able to handle a range of customer interactions with success. read more

If you have an appointment, does not matter. This location only has one person working the front desk and doing the blood draws.

I brought in a Vibrant test that I needed to have blood drawn for and the facility was very clean and the lady on staff was super friendly. I didn't feel anything when she drew the blood (zero pain) and she even offered to pack up my blood and mail it off for me. An amazing experience. read more

They don't offer B-12 packages - they offer something called nutritional package which isn't really what I was looking for and the person wasn't that friendly. Go somewhere else. read more

Don't believe the sign. They don't close at 6:30 even though that is what the sign says. They have cutoff times for "certain tests" no mention of what those tests are. Not the most pleasant staff either. read more

Hands down impressed! Extremely efficient and fats service. Walked in, was waited on immediately, taken back and first stick blood was drawn. I was in and out in 5 minutes. Michelle was awesome! read more

Had a very pleasant experience here. Had to have 2 tests done within 48 hours and both days was in and out in a few minutes. Don't remember the name of the girl performing the blood draw, but she was amazing, the least painful draw I've ever had. Will definitely return for any future labs. Oh yes, and results came pretty fast too. BTW, the office has moved downstairs to another suite, and am glad they put a huge sign at their previous location :) read more

Really wish I could give this place 10 stars. I have a severe phobia of needles and blood. I get so anxious to the point of me passing out. I had a morning appointment and came early to explain my anxiety to the technicians. Harley was above and beyond amazing. She was so nice and knowledgeable. Her professionalism went well over what I was expecting. I have never been so glad to go into an establishment that makes me squirm in my life. The blood draw was no longer than 5 or 6 minutes and you pay before so you can leave directly after. Harley checked on me throughout the process and kept my mind occupied while taking my blood. I cannot recommend this place and especially Harley enough. Management, if you're reading this, Harley needs a raise!!!! She was AMAZING and would be the 100% reason on my return!!!!!! My sister came here for a screening scheduled at 9:30. Just to ensure she didn't miss her appointment she came early around 9am and realized that the building was still closed. There were a group of people waiting outside and no worker in sight. The office is supposed to be open at 8:30 and for some reason there was no sign posted or anything telling the customers why the office had yet to be open. After waiting for almost an hour, she just decided to leave and schedule an appointment with a more professional office. Save your time and money and avoid this place. I've heard from some friends how this isn't the first time this has happened from this location. read more

So my husband called and spoke w a female don't remember her name but she was African American. They asked him to repeat his name and the spelling of his name maybe 10 times. She then told him his results of his drug test were negative so it was a relief. Then my husband goes to pick up his results in paper a few days after and it was actually positive. He asked her why she had said it was negative and she then replied saying she must've mis read it. How incompetent can you possibly be? This is what you do for a living. She was rude over the phone and stupid in person. She deserves to be fired. Please don't waste your time going here. read more

I went in for a pre-employment drug screen and it was a pretty normal experience all the way up until I she began testing my sample and I came back from washing my hands. She asked me what I got hired for and what I would be doing and I told her, then she just started laughing to herself after I answered and said very slyly "okay." I asked her if she had anything to let me know and she simply said no all the while still laughing. I asked if she was sure because at that point I was unsettled and then she said "you tell me you know what you do." At that point I just greeted her goodbye and left. It was such an odd experience and whether my results came back negative or positive I just saw the whole thing as very unprofessional and something that was extremely unnecessary. I don't really see anything amusing about anything that was taking place and as a professional either keep it to yourself or formally let me know my results. Very strange experience to have at a testing site of all places. read more

Wow. With the sky high prices for the lab tests they do here you should shop around and go somewhere else. It's cheaper to do a walk in at the ER. They have one member on staff who is less than enthused to be at work. While waiting, the play adds and propaganda on why you should be getting every medical lab test done and give these ridiculous statistics about why. Skip this money hoarding location and go elsewhere. Update. I was told 48 hours for my test results. It has been 4 business days, so I called to see if they were in. Spoke with "Michelle" (pretty sure she did not give me her real name) on the phone and explained I was told my results would be in within 48 hours and was calling to see if they were in. She said "well first of all, those results are not in that quick so you are wrong about that", WOW..OK. I was so stunned at how rude she was I didn't say anything for a minute, when I heard a "whatever" from Ms. Michelle. LOL awesome. She then looked up my results which had resulted. I will in no way, shape, or form give this company anymore of my business and I really hope others will seek out other institutions for their lab draws. Not impressed. read more

Terrible terrible service!!!!! Please DON'T waste you money as I did. Results have taken OVER 3 WEEKS, many phone calls to follow up, sarcastic employees who don't understand who the customer is and that I paid $100 for 2 simple tests. The guy who owns this franchise is a business genius when it comes to services offered and the technology available for explaining what the tests actually measure. On the other hand.... he hires butchers for phlebotomists... if they hit a vein on the first shot it is amazing. They stab and jab and hit or miss routinely. Amazing considering the investment in the rest of this business. This is why I do not go here. I'd give them a 5 for their technology and a 1 for the "pokers". Interesting, when the foundation of the business is taking blood specimens. Actually, it is just plain stupid. Anyhow, my friend comes here for her tests 3 or 4 times a year. It is less expensive than going to Wellstar for the same services and the doctor doesn't have to write a referral. My friend is far, far braver than I am in this respect. Me, I am a total coward and multiple jabbings is definitely not on my agenda! Not even once to see how it works! read more

I had an experience similar to everyone else. I had an appointment. Showed up at 4:30 for a 4:40 appointment to see a sign on the door that said, "Back in 15 minutes." The two ladies returned at 5pm with Walgreen's bags. As I checked in, one ran to the back. When I sat down to have my blood drawn, she was stuffing her face with cookies and spit some on me as she chewed and greeted me. When I went around to pay, the woman at the counter was playing on her phone (actually on FaceBook, because I could see it), and the woman who took the blood had to remind her to print out the sheet for the draw. I had to wait while she finished up posting on FB. This location is near my house, so I actually gave them a second chance because I have a medical condition that requires frequent medical testing. This second time, the test was for a urinalysis. After a week, I got no results back. I called, and was told, "Oh, yeah, we forgot to put that in." A few days later, I checked my email. $45 for a urinalysis to check for a UTI, and what were the results? "There was urine." Yep. $45 to learn that what comes out of my bladder is, indeed, urine. My doctor was floored and said, "Do not go back to that location." I highly recommend Quest Labs on Church Street in Marietta. Always clean. Always professional. No Oreos spit in your face. They don't take off for a snack run to Walgreen's when you have an appointment. And they get your results back--real results, not "there was fluid in this person's body"--super speedy. read more
