I reached out on Yelp because this business came up when searching for photo printing services but was very disappointed with the quality. This business doesn't seem to have experience with printing regular photos in standard photo sizes, and I wish they just refused to take my order instead of wasting my time & money. For context, I was shown proofs before printing and several of the photos were distorted to fit the dimensions of the print. When I asked if they could just crop it to avoid the distortion, they seemed to struggle to figure out how to do that. I was there for a total of 45 minutes, and I ended up with only 4 or 5 prints because they did not know how to fix the issue. Granted the prints came out well, but I probably spent double or triple the price for what I would've gotten at a FedEx without the convenience or speed. I honestly should've just walked away but didn't want to walk out empty handed for the time I spent waiting. Now I regret paying full price for subpar service and a disappointingly incomplete order.

I said okay, he was ringing me up without saying my total price took my card and while he was putting in my card I read the machine and he was gonna charge me $175 for 4!!! There was no clarification and I didn't think those cut outs were $40 each because UPS sells it for $11 each better quality too! I told him to cancel and thankfully we worked out a deal. But then the next day I saw that it charged my credit card! I had to go pick up the photos the next day and when I got there it wasn't even made yet. I couldn't wait around for 20 minutes because I had work so I had to come back the next day. Luckily he was able refund my $175. The photo stick that they use as a handle is cardboard and it broke immediately.

I went to Office Depot Northridge, which is closer to me, to request for a refund difference under the price match guarantee policy. Basically, refund at regular price and repurchase at sale price. I went to the Northridge location and talked to a cashier, who tried to help me process the refund difference. He called his manager for further help and saw my receipt, which showed that the product was purchased at Office Depot Woodland Hills. This manager named Fernando, told me that I should go to the Woodland Hills location, refusing me instead of helping out. Lazy, bad attitude and terrible customer service on his part. You should be able to refund the difference under the price match guarantee at any Office Depot store. At least the cashier at the Woodland Hills location knew what he was doing and processed the refund difference right away. The cashier is far more professional than the store manager, Fernando. There is a similar review four years ago for this Northridge location about the bad system of having to return items to the original store and not to any store. There are numerous bad reviews previously about Fernando, who will never change his attitude, and he should be fired. As long as he is in charge, I don't expect this Northridge location to improve anytime soon. Do yourself a favor, make sure to check the price on the Office Depot website before buying anything at the Office Depot Northridge store. This store is ripping off customers. This is an absolute highway robbery. Avoid this store at all cost!
