Normally during the winter season. I walked in through their back door in which the window was steeled bar LOL. The girls we're friendly from the get-go! Either they worked for the family or just seasonal people working through the winter. Very hospitable and friendly upon first interaction. Organized with their products just like a local corner gas station should, though its in the middle of nowhere on Route 22! The restroom was clean and pleasant with a bit of rural northeastern decor. They also have a little sandwich shop which are made by order with local Vermot cheeses if you like. Now they do have only i gas pump which is fine for rural town. The lighting around the around could need some work at there is only one light below the huge Gulf sign shining above. I had an excellent experience at Green Mountain Garage in Brandon, VT. First, I stopped in because…read morethe windshield wiper fluid stopped workint on a car I had just bought and driven back from Arizona. They checked the fluid and found it was frozen. Michael, the owner, explained that the fluid used in Vermont, unlike that used in warmer climates, includes a chemical that keeps it from freezing and showed me what to buy next time I needed fluid. His mechanic drained the old fluid and filled it with the appropriate fluid. Yet he charged me just $5 for the fluid and nothing for labor. I went back to Green Mountain for the post-registration inspection on the car. It went fairly quickly and cost $60. And, again, as a courtesy, they tightened the lug nuts on the newly purchased snow tires and attached the new license plates. And everyone there, especially Michael, was courteous, friendly, and helpful. Next time my car needs servicing, that's where I'm going.

The front office staff is a bunch of old men who have no education in terms of car parts and make appointments willy nilly. I was turned away for my part being in aftermarket packaging. I never received a phone call and went all day without a vehicle when they knew this the first few minutes after it being dropped off. They never opened the part to see if it was the right part, which is was. I had to take my vehicle to another place to have it worked on. I was told on the phone "Go fuck yourself.... Who do you think you are fucking talking to" They hung up the phone on me three separate times trying to figure out why they wouldn't put the part on. They have lost my personal business as well as the company I work for. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE WITH FRONT OFFICE STAFF THAT IS UNEDUCATED. SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE AND GO ELSEWHERE! Believe me when I say paying extra is worth it.
